The SceneBuried deep on a commercial street lined with chop shops and abandoned lots, The Eagle evoke the bar's original, pre-gentrified locale. The industrial vibe extends inside the long, two-floored space. Unfinished concrete floors, chain-link fencing, low lighting and pounding house tracks set the mood: sleaze, but in the best possible sense.The DrawDrop a beer bottle on the floor and patrons will happily tromp over the broken glass. (Try that at Lot 61.) The handsome wood bar, coral-style seating and pool tables from the old establishment are on board, as are plenty of humpy men clad in leather, Levis and uniforms.
