Beautiful and Tasteful 12/1/2005

I needed a place to stay one night in the downtown area and I wanted to be pampered after a long week. SO I chose this place they are courteuos and prompt with service. I was really impressed with the beautiful decor and many admenties that they have to offer. I took a small tour of this place and it has to be the most beautiful "palace" in the DT area. It was breath-taking with the ballrooms and crystal chandliers in the rooms. The beds are sooo comfortable to sleep in. I am totally gald that I stayed here. I got what I paid for and more. more

The Davenport Hotel has recently been re-modeled to bring out it's intense orignal feel. Just coming and taking a look is worth the time and effort. It's simply stunning and the perfect stop for your anniversary or other special occasion! Its an amazing show palace and has been featured in AARP magazine. more

What an awesome site to see. The Davenport Hotel is absolutely gorgeous, the re-model is fabulous! A great place to stay, have a party or even just to go in and take a peek! It has intense historical value and appeal. Its a great place for drinks, great meals or just a visit to enjoy the beauty. It was recently featured in the AARP magazine! more
