Cheap, & delicious, EVERYONE goes to Cosmic. 5/14/2006

It's an institution. My favorite used to me the Old School Vegetarian burrito- super delicious! Then I was really into the deluxe veggie nachos. Now, however, I'm leaning toward the mini burritos which seem to be the perfect size for my appetite. Burriots are also available on campus in the student stores to buy for lunch between classes- a testament to the symbiotic relationship between Cosmic and the UNC students! I love cosmic late at night, but I can't do the chips after 2am for some reason- my stomach doesn't like it =( Now they've opened a bar in the cantina. I haven't ordered from it, but word is that the drinks are tasty, and STRONG. more

Cosmic Cantinas everywhere! 4/7/2006

There are 3 Cosmic Cantina's in US: in Durham on 9th St., in Chapel Hill on Franklik St., and in New York City. I've been eating at Cosmic's since high school, and I visited all 3! It is inexpensive and has a fun student atmosphere! I love the veggie burritos, they are very filling, but I think the best buy is their Vegan Plate! With all the food groups on the plate and a side of chips, 2 people can enjoy this healthy meal for under $5! more

Cheap and filling 4/3/2006

Cosmic Cantina is a Triangle area institution. Anyone can eat here (carnivorous or vegetarian) and leave very full and not that much poorer). The service is quick and the food is delicious. The atmosphere is a little dingy, somehwat of a dive, but that just adds to the fun of it. A great place to hit before or after the bars or a show, and a fun place to hang out with friends. Check out the Independent Weekly - they usually have a coupon to make it even cheaper. more

Cosmic Cantina - perfect for any occasion 4/2/2006

This is one of my favorite places to eat on Franklin street. It's cheap, quick, clean (as of late), and really good! The best thing is, you can eat cosmic for any occasion. It makes the perfect lunch, dinner, or late night drunken snack. Plus, everything is pretty fresh, and the food is really simple. more

The best burritos around 8/12/2005

Cosmic Cantina has amazing burritos, and one of the nice things is that they have a "mini" size that is actually a reasonable amount to eat for lunch, and only $3. This is a very casual place, right on campus at UNC-Chapel Hill. You order at the counter and they call your order when it is ready. They also offer a variety of other entrees and salads. If you eat it there, your order comes with free chips and salsa, but for some reason they refuse to give it to you if you take out. more
