Every meal has been outstanding, every drink has been superior, and the waitstaff have reached the apex of their profession. more

A Complete Dining Experience 11/13/2002

The Capital Grille is a Must for dining out in Providence. The bar is a great place to start, offering a nice, if crowded, atmosphere. Service is impeccable at the bar, and continues in the dining room. The menu offers a nice variety, but if you go to the Capital Grille, have a steak! Cuisine is prepared perfectly to order, a nice selection of wines are available, and the desserts are spectacular. more

Best Steak in Boston 11/7/2002

A cut above 10/21/2002

Impressive but not ""stuffy""; the staff pays attention to detail. Quantity & quality of portions unsurpassed. Pros: prompt attention, excellent attention t, good portions more

Stuffy. Wear a suit. 10/15/2002

Sure it's a nice steak, but who wants to eat it surrounded by a bunch of stuffy politicians? The atmosphere counts a lot to me when choosing ""The Best of"". I'd prefer the Memphis Roadhouse in Attleboro for the nicest, biggest steak in a relaxed good-time place. more

THIS PLACE ROCKS!!! 8/26/2002

This is comfort food at it's best. The best value in town for top quality steak and portions beyond belief. They've managed to keep their guests their first priority. It's like coming home. Pros: service, value, consistency Cons: noisy, parking more

The Head of the Class 8/4/2002

The Capital Grill captures the coveted crest of cuisine for the cognizant crowd....Or...It takes a brainiac to appreciate each and every meaty layer of this dining establishment's worth. ""I'll take mine rare with the pencil thin asparagus, thank you."" more

GREAT FOOD, EXPENSIVE 8/2/2002

Great food, especially the deserts! The waitstaff was also great. A little expensive. more

Simply awesome 7/30/2002

This place is great for special occasions. The food is unbelievable and the service is professional. I would highly recommend this place for a romantic date or a business meeting. The wine list has some hard to find great wines. Pros: great steaks, amazing service, good size portions Cons: a little loud more

Cow is good 7/23/2002

Great atmoshphere, classy and comfortable. The only problem was that they don't pour their Guinness in pint glasses. more
