This new Asian fusion left us feeling out in the cold. We get there and the place is empty on a Thurs. nite, Uh-oh. The atmosphere is awesome. Too bad the food didn't match it. The menu offers a good variety of Asian cuisines, but this is not PF Changs. Don't go there looking for it. To me, a good Kung Pao is telling of a decent Asian eatery. The Malia's chicken is their version and it was pretty good. The Mongolian Beef however was very bland and unsatisfying. A bowl of plain, white, Minute Rice accompanied our meal. This was the worst part of the meal, hard and overcooked. Brown rice or even fried rice would've been a better option. But we weren't offered any options. The house Chardonnay was the best part of our meal. Unimpressed with the service. Uninformed and uncaring. We can spend $40 elsewhere.
Pros: ambience, location
Cons: , mongolian beef
