I shopped all around town for the perfect invitation for my daughters fifteenth birthday and found it at That Invitation Place. I first went to all the high end boutique stores thinking that there I would find the best selection and service. WRONG! They were only willing to help me upon asking me how much I was willing to spend -- and making sure it was enough to be worth their while. What a turn off! News flash for them, it was more than enough to pique their interest, but they lost mine at the first hint of snobbiness. \r

I swung by That Invitation Place on a weekday afternoon - (during those summer hours when they closed super early!) just as they were getting ready to close and was still treated with patience and courtesy at a time when most stores would have shut the door on me. The ladies who working there were beyond helpful and full of great ideas to please a picky mother and daughter with contradicting tastes! They created a beautiful custom invitation that was better than anything I had seen at the other stores around town. They were super cooperative every step of the way, even throughout my outrageous demands and mood swings! Oh the stress of planning a party!\r

About a week after ordering, I had 200 gorgeous invitations in my hand that my daughter and I designed ourselves. I have since been back to order thank you notes for my daughter, stationary for myself and some yummy smelling personalized soaps for a girlfriends birthday - which arrived the same week! A cheap personalized gift (but no one needs to know that!) that I'm gifting all the girls in my husband's office with this Christmas. \r

Getting back to business, yeah, the store can be crazy packed and sometimes it's hard to get someone's undivided attention there, but isn't a packed store a good sign? They must be doing something right to keep so many people coming back. I'd deal with the frantic environment and great prices over someone holding my hand (and wallet) on the Mile anyday!
Pros: Great service, great selection, reasonable prices, friendly and knowledgeable staff
Cons: Too many beautiful options make for tough decisions!
