course in great shape 7/14/2008

I have played at Thanksgiving Point many times this year and it always seems to leave me wanting another go at it. The course always presents a new challenge from wind to the tight-well manicured greens. The course is in great shape this year and I cant wait to play it again. The staff works hard to make sure you have the most enjoyable time possible and they are very professional. If you are in for a challenge, Thanksgiving Point is the only option.\r Pros: staff works hard, course in awesome shape, new carts Cons: no cons more

Unfriendly Staff 5/1/2007

The golf course itself was nice, but the staff was very snooty, looking disdainfully at my ""vintage"" clubs. Granted its one of the nicer courses in the valley, its not all that the staff thinks it is. Pros: nice course; centrally located Cons: snooty staff more

Scourge of golf 7/27/2003

Thanksgiving point is part of the rapidly growing scourge of golf. I am a career golf professional who has played many great golf courses and you have it great in Utah. Sadly many people are opening up upscale golf courses that are overpriced. Avoid this one, sadly these courses drive up the price of all other courses in the area and we will all suffer. I also want to know where Miller found the Elephants he buried under each green. Pros: lots of length, some good holes Cons: way overerpriced, stupid greens more

The best 10/2/2002

Awsome Course, It truly a challenge. Anyone can have fun there. more

Typical Miller 6/1/2002

The course is an excellent golf test. It has Miller's trademark of diagonal holes. Better to play in the morning because afternoons are normally windy at this location. The sixth hole is a monster par 4 and is followed by the only major flaw in the course. The par 3 seventh goes out to a green that is isolated and the carts must drive right back to the tee, thus slowing down play. The 17th is a par 3 that measures 252 from the back, is down hill to a green that is 60 yards wide and thirty feet deep. Don't be short or you are in the Jordan River and if you are long the ball is gone. Good Luck Pros: Inexpensive, Well maintained, Easy to get to Cons: Not open on Sundays, Can play slow more
