Plz check the nearby Thai Resturants 6/19/2011

Guess, I can just say please google Thai restaurants near this one. This is simple a pathetic place. The food is bad. The tables are dirty. So better check out better place before you visit this one. more

Very is bland is true! I know! I'm thai! 7/8/2009

I went to Thai Cabin to check them out because I was staying close by. I always order Pad Thai because if a Thai restaurant makes good pad thai, then usually all their other dishes are very good. Well, Thai Cabin was a disappointment. Not only do the taste of the Pad Thai (3-star spice) was bland, the rice noodle were made out of pretty cheap rice noodles. Service? Not the best, closer towards the worst. I would never recommend this restaurant to anyone I know, because everyone I know loves very good food. Pros: interior design Cons: food more

Best pad thai 3/30/2008

I love Pad thai here. Not too sweet, not too sour.just perfect. They don't overcook noodles and shrimp. more

I could live off this food! 3/23/2007

There is a reason for this restaurant's success and many locations. I personally can't say enough about this place. Ive tried many thai food places and keep coming back to Thai Orchid year after year. For the ambiance, price, service, and yummy food you just can't beat it! \r My favorite is the yellow curry and pad thai. Pros: yummy, prices, many locations Cons: none so far more

Best Pad Thai anywhere. 1/8/2007

I love Thai Orchid pad thai. Their stir fried chicken w/green bean and chili sauce (pad prik khing) is also very good. The service is prompt and friendly. Pros: Food, service, parking more

Bland Thai Food?!? 11/18/2006

An oxymoron becomes reality. The food, although blessedly lighter than some deep fried chinese food, was amazingly bland. My pork dish was tasty and had a pleasing mix of veggies, but I had to dump a ton of chilli paste on it just to keep my tongue from falling asleep. Not worth the money for something I easily could have made at home. Pros: lovely decor Cons: bland bland bland more

Horrible Service and Food! 4/9/2006

We have been going to Thai Orchid's various locations for over 5 years now and for some reason this place is really going under in quality. Not only was the service horrible, but the Pad Thai was bland and as well as the other dishes. We mentioned this to our server and said that a manager would be out to talk to us, which never happend. They were happy to process our entire bill without saying sorry. We will never go back and will definately no suggest this to those that we know. more

it's so so 1/13/2006

Back when there were fewer Thai Orchids, the one on burnside was actually pretty good food. The one in beaverton is very so so. The sauces was runny for the curry, and the seafood salad wasn't so fresh.....I hope they get the recipe again from the main branch. Pros: good parking, not too busy Cons: food not tasty more

Ameri-Thai 5/28/2005

Yet another Americanized Thai establishment as we search for something authentic. Of the other Orchid chains, our experience at this location has been one of the better ones. Service is decent and the chef here tends to be better with his spices. The fish and curry dishes are nice and the phad thai has good flavor. Nothing taste buds popping, however. If you're a curry fan, go to an Asian market like Uwajimaya and buy a can of Thai curry for a buck or two, follow the cooking instructions, add other ingredients like eggplant, meat or veggies, and it'll taste pretty close to the restaurant's (you'll save $$ that way too). All in all, Thai Orchid is Thai tame. Pros: Ample Parking more

Not impressed 4/12/2005

I have eaten a Thai Orchid for years. I will not be going back. The quality of the food has gone down as more locations have been open. Thai orchid is just another chain restaurant. I got thigh meat in a dish that should have had white meat. The wait staff were rude. The food is overpriced. I could not finish my meal because it did not taste good. There are plenty of better Thai restaurants. I suggest you avoid Thai Orchid Cons: Rude, Poor Quality, Overpriced more

Thai Orchid is not worth the time and money!!! 3/24/2005

I went with a group of people and all of them agreed that the food was just average, nothing special of unique about the food. The dishes were overpriced for the quality given. Authentic Thai food is supposed to be spicy and fresh, but it seemed like the restaurant made the food out of packages of noodles already made. Our group ended up using all of the hot chili sauce. The customer service was horrible to top things off. I do not recommend this restaurant. It does not display what really is Thai food. more

Consistently great food 10/29/2004

Thai Orchid does a wonderful job of making thai food that is consistently excellent, no matter which of the restaurants you go to. The Pad Thai is always excellent and don't miss the Tom Kha (coconut milk and mushroom soup). This location is usually easy to get into without a wait, and the service is good, both at lunch and at dinner. Pros: Excellent food, Service, Parking more

Never been disappointed 9/24/2002

It's smaller and not as busy as some of the other Thai Orchid spots. Also one of the newer locations. The service has always been commendable and the food is just as good, if not better, than the other locations. Pros: Plenty of parking, Same menu, Not very big Cons: , Not very big more
