I find Texas Harley-Davidson is about 10% higher on all their prices even over the surrounding H-D dealerships in DFW. The only thing I purchase, merchandise wise, are items that...

Nicest dealer in town 6/16/2011

I've been shopping around for a couple months now and Texas Harley was by far the least pushy of all the dealers in town. Very helpful, answered all my questions without pressuring me or following me around the store. That's a good sales person to me, someone who is around but not stalking me. more

Good Harley Dealership Got Better 6/15/2011

Bought my Harley at another dealer, but I've been getting it serviced at Texas Harley for years. No problem with the other dealer; Texas Harley is much closer to the house. I rode in once without an appointment for service, but they worked me in without a hassle. Appreciated that very much. Yesterday I rode up, no appointment, just to get a state inspection. They told me 20 minutes. Walked over to the showroom... wow, Adam Smith has put a lot more inventory on the floor! I have been aware of the ownership change because I am a regular service customer. Always a good sign when familiar faces remember you and greet you. Soon I had my new inspection sticker, headed home in that 100+ degree heat. Service, parts and motorclothes always treated me right. When I upgrade to a new bike, it will be at Texas Harley. more

BEST HARLEY SHOP IN THE METROPLEX! 6/15/2011

I was in Texas Harley recently to browse for a new bike. The customer service at this place is exceptional! Shane is a great bike salesman, he never once made me feel like he was being pushy, and gave me all the time I needed and answered any questions that I had about the bikes. I know that when I am ready for my next Harley purchase, I am coming back to Adam Smith's Texas Harley-Davidson and asking for Shane! more

Best Customer Service 6/14/2011

I recently bought a Harley Sportser from Texas Harley-Davidson. It was the best buying experience I have ever had. The customer service is what sold me on the bike. Everyone from Carl, salesman, to merchandise, to parts, to finance, to service was exceptional. I've never seen customer service like it! more

Texas Harley-Davidson 6/13/2011

This place rocks. My brother and I were in the store on Saturday 6/11/11. While my brother was finalizing the deal on his new bike , I was looking around at some accessories, in the store and every employee made me feel very welcome. A year ago I had gone to another Harley-Davidson dealer in the area ,and the atmosphere in that shop was not anything like what I found at this dealership . more

Best Harley Dealership in the Metroplex 5/27/2011

Adam Smith knows how to run a Harley store. The changes that have been made in the first 6 months have been outstanding. The people that work there are also great to be around, and genuinely care about their customers. The HOG group also has it going on. With great rides scheduled every weekend, and very cool events all the time. Check em out, you won't be sorry. more

Great Experience!!!!! 5/9/2011

I have been doing business here at Texas Harley since 1999. This place is on it's way to being the #1 Harley Store in the area. New Owner, New Manager, New Look and most importantly a New Attitude. These guys are the best! more

Unbelievably incompetent 7/14/2008

I brought in a 2008 VRSCAW (VROD) with 2400 miles on it. The engine was dying when I shifted to neutral and the mileage was about half of what it should have been. As of this coming Thursday July 17th, the bike will have been their shop for THREE WEEKS. They diagnosed O2 sensors and fuel injectors, ordered & installed the parts, and then decided the ECM was bad. I could have told them that from day one. Here is the chronology:\r 1.) Arrived June 26th, 8:00 AM. Waited for 20 minutes for the service writer to finish with another customer while 6 mechanics stood around smoking cigarettes, drinking coffee, and ogling my 22 year old daughter who was there to give me a ride home.\r 2.) Finally one of the mechanics offered to ""get my paperwork started"".\r 3.) In 3 weeks, they have called me twice. Every other correspondence I have had with them was after I waited all day and called them around 6:00 PM. Each time they called it was after I complained to the dealer management.\r 4.) They promised my bike would be ready last Thursday 7-10. They never called. When I called them the service dude who answered the phone knew nothing about my bike. He came back on the line and said it was ready to pick up. About 20 minutes later when my wife and I were halfway there, he called back and said it was a mistake and my bike was NOT ready yet. \r 5.) I am a good judge of people. This dealership has personnel problems and there is obviously friction between management and the joe sixpacks. STAY AWAY. Hopefully my bike will still run when I get it back someday. Pros: Easy location from Keller, TX Cons: BAD SERVICE, UNKEMPT PROMISES, VERY UNPROFESSIONAL ATMOSPHERE more

Worst Service ever Encountered! 1/6/2008

If you value your time, money and motorcycle do not go to this place for service or parts. I had a 20,000 mile service performed and they broke my rear brake caliper. They then tried to get me to pay for their mistake. I actually did pay for it for what I was charged. I was charged way more than I was Quoted. The service was terrible, the work incomplete and my air filter cover was about to come off when I got home. Prices are too high and the service is the worst I have ever encountered in my life and I am 54 Years old. Pros: Good Location Cons: Poor Service and High Prices more

Poor Customer Service, High Prices 11/29/2006

I find Texas Harley-Davidson is about 10% higher on all their prices even over the surrounding H-D dealerships in DFW. The only thing I purchase, merchandise wise, are items that are on the clearance racks or specials. Other than that I go to other appearal stores like Biker Alley in downtown Grapevine which is close by. - \r \r For there service department, I've only used it once and it took 5 hours to change my back tire. I was told it would only take an hour so I dropped it off and walked a few blocks to eat lunch. When I returned a little over an hour later the tire change had not even started yet. For the next three hours I had a very good look at the normal products that every H-D dealer carries and could not believe the markup compared to the surrounding dealers I've been to. Ever since I've gone to North Texas H-D with much better service department and prices. - \r \r On a positive note; they do have a lot of motorcycles to choose from. Also I love the converted water tank to dressing rooms. The new store is very well layed out. Pros: Motorcycle selection, store lay out. Cons: Poor service in service department, high than normal H-D prices. more
