We went to texas land &cattle thinking,we'll enjoy the best steak in the city. We have 2 kids at the ages of 1,3. We ordered them chicnken fingers. They took a bite and started crying. My husband tasted it and it was spicy.Kids menu,spicy!!! we called the waiter and he apologized and said they must have dipped in spicy flour. Hello!!! kids menu!!! How ignorant is this? We complained to the restaurant and they sent us coupons but I doubt we;ll ever go back there again. By the way, they changed the chicken fingers. Pros: good parking Cons: Crowded more

Went to 6 flags in Arlington. I thought this was going to be just another chain like Bonanza or Western Sizzlin. IT AINT! I ordered a burger and it was the best I have ever had. My son had a child's steak and it was prepared as well my wife's regular steak. To me the tast and cut was as good if not better than Mortion's in Chicago. Our waitress was perfect. Not only the best Steak House in San Antonio, but I would place it against most any Steak House in America. Although it is number 2 in San Antonio on the list I just read, I have ate at both and Texas Land and Cattle is far superior. The atmospher at the location on the Riverwalk can't be beat either. The service was incredible,even the manager was checking on us every couple of minutes to see if there was anything else we needed.We were in a hurry and were served and out within an hour.It was incredible,I wish I lived closer and could eat there on a regular basis. The Best around 1/3/2003

I have eaten at the Texas Land and Cattle Steak house in San Antonio and in Dallas and my opionion is it is the best steak house around. I live in SC and wish I had one here! If anyone out there would like to open one in Easley SC I would be the first customer. Pros: great food, good prices, great atmosphere more

Have never had to send a steak back; cooked right everytime. Wait staff is efficient and friendly. Good place to take a crowd. Never have gotten a bad meal; steaks are excellent! Pros: Excellent steaks, Good parking, Great wait staff Cons: Not romantic more

I thoroughly enjoyed my visit. I will know next time to make reservations due to the atmosphere it is quite a popular place. The Food was spectacular the steak was tender and cooked just the way I ordered it (medium rare) it came to the table hot and was very filling. The waitstaff were friendly, prompt and clean. 10 Best bread pudding 7/24/2002

My husband and I went to TLC about a yr and a half ago, and then moved shortly after. We still talk about our dinnng experiece there to be one of our best in SA. The meat was a good size portion and I had a very large and delicious sweet baked potato with all the right condements. But what really empressed us was the bread pudding we had for dessert. It was made with jack daniels and it was absolutely supurb! I can't describe in words how great it was, but after having shared one, we ordered another to go. I really hope they still have it on there menu. The only bad thing about the restaurant is that it was a little noisy, and the tables were too close together, but the food and staff make up for it! When you want a REAL steak.... 7/20/2002

Whenever I want a real steak that is cooked to perfection, only the way I myself can cook a steak...then I go to Texas Land & Cattle Steakhouse. I know my steak will be cooked to perfection and it will not have any sissy flavorings added that mask the true flavor of a steak. Pros: steaks, service Cons: waiting area, lighting more
