We visited Tex and Shirleys on a Saturday morning for breakfast. It was our first visit in probably a year. Now I remember why we haven't gone back.
The tables are crammed into the dining room - presumably to maximize their customer space. However, sitting at a table on an angle practically on top of the person at the table adjacent to us, it is not comfortable. The baby's high chair kept getting bumped as staff moved service carts through the aisle.
Have you ever checked out the ceiling? Gross! Their sanitation grade was decent, 97 I think, but the ceiling was disgusting, especially near the vents.
Staff was friendly enough, but not on top of things like refilling water/coffee, bringing ketchup or an extra straw when asked, etc.
The food was decent - but not as exceptional as it is talked up to be.
We won't be returning any time soon.
