My husband and I were going to see a friend in a show at the Stafford Center and decided to get some dinner before hand. There wasn't much around but we saw Los Gallitos and thoughts Mexican sounded good. I think, in general, we eat at more upscale places, but Los Gallitos appeared clean and fairly well maintained. The interior was comfortable, a place you could very happily take children and not worry you would get dirty looks if they acted up a little. At 7pm on a Saturday, the restaurant was very empty, and they had a massive amount of service staff. Perhaps business picks up after 8? Our server was very nice, as was our bus person. The salsa (its roasted I believe) was AMAZING!! Their menu was extensive. We ordered a chicken fajitas platter for 2. It came quickly and was delicious. The portion was quite generous and the flavor was spot on. It seemed maybe more authentic Mexican then we have gotten at other places. So overall, this was a very surprising experience. I did knock off one star because the bathrooms need some TLC and their extra staff was joking around a little much and it was kind of distracting when you are trying to have a conversation. But if we were in the area, we would surely go back.
Pros: Food is good, service was good, price was good
Cons: Building needs some TLC, over-staffed
