Cold Church !! 12/23/2010

My family went to the Sunday worship and attended their Christmas Concert. However, no one came forward to welcome or chat with us. Furthermore, on that day of concert, it was so crowded, the ushers were unfriendly,no one bothered to give seats to little children and expect the children to be quiet. The usher threatened TO CALL THE POLICE , claiming THE CHURCH IS A PRIVATE PROPERTY - which is true, but what have we done to deserve this? Did we commit any criminal act? All we want is to worship God in a place that is faraway from home.......... more

great urban minded church viewing all the world 6/28/2009

[Correction: Tenth Church (PCA) is located at 17th and Spruce Streets 19103.] Great church, i feel welcome, i can come and go as a stranger or get super involved. i understand the sermons. it's very applicable, seems like a very artistic AND intellectual church. ive met doctors and designers, rich and poor, young and old, single and married, -- ALL types. my observation is it's not a place of perfect people or parading as such, it's a place of folks wanting to get better--at least, that's why im there... and people come from all over to go here, i think it is the most active most attended church in all the city. more

An architectural point of interest: the church building was built by the same architect who built City Hall. more
