Why the wait? 2/16/2005

If you every wondered why someone would wait over an hour to eat at a restaurant, go to Ted's. It is one of the best Mexican Food restaurants in a City that prides itself on the cuisine. The portions are more than generous, and the service is top notch. You may have to wait an extended period for a table; but it will definitely be worth it. I think that Ted's has the best authentic food in the area. They do a great job and make you feel like family when you're there. I love taking my family and friends to Ted's because I know that they won't be disapointed. Pros: inexpensive, genuine, great tasting Cons: crowded more

Highly Overrated 8/25/2002

You might hear from friends or family that this is the best place for Mexican food in Oklahoma City, but think twice before waiting in line for an hour. The food is decent, but not authentic (think cheez-wiz). If you are an out-of-towner, go for Chelino's (several metro locations) or Margarita's (N. May and Wilshire). These places might seem quaint and small but offer great food and are family owned and operated by Mexican families. You wont wait long, and you'll get great service. Just remember to skip Ted's. Pros: Good location Cons: Not worth the price, Crowded/Long Wait, Bad Parking more

A landmark Tex-Mex restaurant in OKC. Ted has maintained the quality of his food and restaurant for years. Probably not the best food around, but everything on the menu is good. Also, Ted enforces incredible cleanliness standards in his place! Pros: good food Cons: The wait, always crowded more
