good ol' barber shop 5/27/2009

Teck's is a place where you can go in and feel comfortable. they are really into details and they take there time making sure your hair cut is done right. they talk about every thing from cars to fishing. i will be going back and for only $15 it was well worth the price. more

Clean & classic 5/22/2006

This is the kind of place a guy feels comfortable going to. It's not pretentious or uppity in any way. True, there's no cool young chicks there, but it's clean (enough), its got cool old signed photos by OSU coaches/teams/etc., and the conversation is fine (discuss sports & fishing, guy jokes are told, etc.). And if you do want to look at the "chicks", you just step out the front door and look around - the OSU campus location provides plenty to see. John, Lee & the other guys will give you a clean hair cut using clippers for the short styles or scissors for the longer stuff - they even use a straight razor & hot shaving cream for around your ears & neck - all for a decent price. You cant go wrong here. more

Good, basic haircuts 12/31/2005

Tecks Barber Shop located right on OSU campus has been cutting the hair of undergrads for as long as I can remember. Geared more towards men's haircuts, the guys here can give you a flat-top in no time flat! Quality, basic hair cuts is what these barbers do best. I've gone several times and even remember my grandfather taking me there when I was a little boy - the service is fantastic and the job well done. I think you can even get a hot shave with a straight-razor... yeah, these guys are old school. Anyway, the price is reasonable too - great for broke college guys! more

Old Fashioned Barber 8/16/2005

Teck's barbershop is just like the good old days where barbershops were a local hangout for men. Teck's offer more than just great haircuts, they offer good conversation and company. They have a flat fee of $13 for any haircut you want. They don;t offer more of the fancier haircuts just old-fashioned clips. more
