Now, don't tell anyone else but...this is another well kept NW Tucson secret. Not a chain, but a family run restaurant with the Mister cookin' and the Missus as maitre d'. Tavolino is my pick of the litter in Italian dining anywhere in Tucson.
Fresh pasta, and their bolognese (three meats) is to die for. You'll want to return again and again and work your way down the menu.
The wine selection is modest for wine snobs, but more than adequate for the rest of us.
Reservations are a must, but please, add a little class and dress for dinner and you'll feel right at home. No lunch and closed on Sundays.
