I am new to Salt Lake and was looking for a new stylist. I had an appointment with Lisa C. She did a great job with my haircut and color it turned out perfect. I am picky when it comes to my highlights and she took the extra time to find out exactly what I was looking for. I already booked my next appointment with her, I won't need to look for anyone else. more

Haley cut and colored my hair on 10/19/2013. I had a fabulous experience with her. She was very professional and my hair looks amazing. I asked her how I would achieve more volume to my hair because I have fine medium length hair. Haley suggested I put a shorter layer closer to the top. I can't believe how much more volume my hair has. My hair has natural wave and my hair looks fabulous either straight or curly. I would recommend Haley to anyone. I saw some of the negative reviews on here and was very shocked!! I plan on going back to haley for years to come. P.S. I drove from Layton because a co-worker referred Haley. I will be doing it again in 6 weeks. Worth the drive. more

A+++ service and style, Haley Barnson is wonderful. I bought a group on a few months back and was very nervous. I have very long hair and was scared because I have had bad haircuts before. This stylist was so good and so nice, not only did she give me a great cut and color, she recommended products for my hair. I have had 2 additional treatments from her and each time I thank god I found her. My hair has never looked or felt better. She is so sweet and so caring. I saw another review that was unfavorable about Haley. I can't imagine her ever being rude or unkind. If you want a great cut and color go to Haley , you wont be sorry! more

Wow I had the most amazing hair cut and color last week from the sweetest woman I have met in a long time. Haley Barnson is amazing!! She used 4 colors and cut my hair in the most amazing way. I have been stopped on the street no less than 4 times by people asking me ""Who cut your hair , it is so cute!!"" I would recommend this stylist to anyone who wants a true professional, and a true talent!! more

HALEY BARNSON- DO NOT GO TO HER. I do not recommend trusting her with your hair. Haley has no work ethic and does not stand behind her work! Due to applying the bleach to the front of my hair first, the front was super light compared to the back. When I asked to see my hair before she washes and dries it, she replied rudely ""We need to hurry"". No, we need to make sure I am happy with my color! After leaving the salon and thoroughly looking at my hair and seeing the drastic difference around my head, I called and asked if she will please put a toner in so it is even. She told me she would call me back the next day. I never heard from her so I texted her and politely asked if she has had time to check her schedule. No response. I called multiples times. No answer. Finally I called off of my work number and she answers! But after hearing who it was, she said she was at work and will call me back after work. I was calling about a work related inquiry, why would she need to call me back after work? And of course, no call back. Luckily Groupon stands behind their service and gave me a refund! more

I get my haircut by Robyn Hodges. She has cut my hair for years! She's a great stylist. She is new to Tangles. However I have enjoyed Tangles the times I have been there so far. If you need a stylist ask for Robyn. She has awesome skills and ideas. She will do you good! more

I purchased a Groupon from Lisa. My highlights and haircut turned out great. She was very friendly and professional. I will definitely use her again. She also shaped my brows while i was processing; very convenient for me. The location is also very easy to find, the space is welcoming and i can't wait to come back. \r more

Thank you Dawn Panah ! For 15 years of no gray, no fade hair color. Have been coloring my stubborn gray hair for many years and struggling to maintain a true color. Have gone from very dark to orange as it faded out. I needed a color EXPERT and found just the ticket at Tangles. Dawn is amazing with color. She also tends to my hair extensions which is not an easy task ! With Dawn's technique they actually stay put. Dawn is by far the most accomplished hair stylist I've ever worked with. Hats off to Dawn ! more

I was going to this salon off and on for over 6 years. Recently, after a local salon fried my hair I realized it was time to go back to Tangles. I drive on average a 90 mile round trip to see Holli to get my hair done and absolutely love it every time. I have also had Rob and Dawn do my hair and get the same expected results. This place is worth the drive in my mind, no-one can color my hair like these guys and not ruin the condition of it. more

He foiled my hair faster than I have ever had and he put in a million of them. They came up so beautiful. My hair is the shiny and soft. I have never had more compliments on my hair in my whole life.. Plus his prices didnt make me want to have a heart attack.. If your sick of always getting the same service from your colorist go see RoB.. Thank you City Search!!!!!!! more

Extemely disappointed with manicures 11/3/2011

I just got a shellac manicure from Lauren at Tangles and I'm extremely disappointed. She asked about length and shape, and I said I like them the way they are. She shortened them all to my finger tips and every nail now has a slightly different shape -- some squared off, some rounded. I showed her a crack in my nail and asked her to glue it before working on it -- she grabbed a file and immediately tore the nail down past the quick before she glued it. OUCH! She did a poor job trimming my cuticles. She painted over my skin so that the shellac is now peeling up off my skin and away from my nails. Last but not least, the edges of my nails feel rough and need to be smoothed. I'm going back the Nail Port even though its further away. more

Fabulous Salon 2/23/2011

I have been going to Hollie for 12 years and obviously have loved her AND her salon! The workers are always professional and easy to talk to and they always have good comments on my hair. I have had my hair done by Dawn and Rob when Hollie has been out and I can always expect great things. Not sure what the person was talking about when she mentioned tattoos and bad hair, I have NEVER seen any of that. Just great service all around! more

I""m sorry, but I've been going to this salon off and on for a few yrs when i'm in town. It seems as if there is a new feel to the place and it's uncomfortable! Their hirering must have changed because now the girls there are loud and use language I would never expect to hear in public. They are OVERLY tattooed, incredibley rude women who seem to think everyone wants to hear their opinions. Unfortunate to have girls of this character there now. If you were a hair stylist you would think you would at least do your own hair.. more

Love this place!!!! 11/24/2009

I have been going to Holli for about 10 years now and absolutely love her. She always has great suggestions/ideas about how I can change up my hairstyle or color. Everyone at the salon is super friendly and very professional. I have referred many people to Tangles and they all have had nothing but good things to say about their experience there. I couldn't imagine going anywhere else to get my hair done!!! Pros: Owners all work at the salon and are AMAZING more
