Bargain Shopping 8/13/2005

essentially a large discount mall it is sure to become a favorite destination of shopaholics everywhere! Many of the outlet stores are upscale names- Ann Taylor, Timberland, Polo Ralph Lauren,Eddie Bauer, Calvin Klein and the memorable Off Fifth saks Fifth Ave Outlet. Remember the outlet store rule- some merchandise is made specifically form out sales and is not of the same caliber as the regular merchandise. That said you can get great bargains on clothes, housewares and gifts for your whole family here. more

This and the LIE turned Riverhead from sleepy to exciting 8/9/2005

Tanger Factory Outlet Center, located at the terminus of the Long Island Expwy. in Riverhead is home to many fine name brands. It is in two stages: the first home to a food court, the second built a year later with more stores. The goods are cheaper than you would find in a mall. The only problem is that it's in Riverhead. They may build another Tanger Outlet in Deer Park, which would be more convenient for western Suffolk and eastern Nassau counties. more

Name brands like Coach, Nike are there as well as Gap, Old Navy, Banana Republic, Pottery Barn, etc. A deal can be had in any store. Find name brand things at great prices. Perfect place to do your Christmas shopping - spend the day and get all of your shopping done at once! more

Tanger outlet center hasover 165 different stores. .Some are actual outlets and some are really more traditional stores. They are open seven days a week.There are two plazas, two food courts and plenty of bargains . It will take a few hours to walk around both of the plazas. The selection of stores has top quality merchandise at good prices. They offer many amenities for the customers shopping here including: local/regional tourist information , customer lounge areas, ATMs, food, stroller rental, wheelchairs and much more. more
