Expensive - Have your wallet ready! 8/8/2005

I visited them once when my dog experienced a sudden paralysis on half of his face. They could not easily diagnose the problem and ended up doing several expensive tests to rule out the possibilities. It ended up costing around $1,000 for an MRI and X-Rays - there wasn't anything abnormal in either. This facility has EXTREMELY high tech capabilities, but it does not come cheap. Service was excellent and prompt. Bottom line, would you do anything for your pet? If so, does price matter? more

Expensive but available 8/5/2005

Back in 1998 our cat was severely dehydrated and our regular vet was unavailable (can't remember why). We ended up taking her to Tampa Bay Veterinary Emergency Service , and she received good care - basically fluids and some kind of sedative - promptly and professionally We had to pay almost a $100 but when it's an emergency who cares. more
