Excellent Private elementary school in Duvall 3/16/2010

This school has been the best thing for my 7 yo son. His confidence has improved and behavior is truly amazing. He loves going to this school and the self-paced aspects of it keep him challenged. He's learning to be a productive member of our town . This year they are doing field trips locally to learn more about Seattle and the areas around it. We were also a bit wary of the one room school house approach and the location in down town Duvall, but Mr A has an impeccable classroom and incredible set up. The older kids become confident by being mentors to the younger kids and the younger kids challenge themselves to keep up with the bigger kids. You won't even believe how polite and engaged these kids are in class - it's been a one in a million experience that we fully believe in. My son is thriving academically - what more can a parent hope for? Pros: Fabulous education, close to home, excellent community Cons: $ - but it's worth every cent more

Amazing School! 3/16/2010

Wow, what a terrific learning experience for my child! I wish I could be back in school! Working in small groups, multi-age classroom, amazing field trips and Wilderness Awareness days, camp each year, customized learning for each level, spanish 4 days a week, pe classes with a terrific instructor, music and music recital at the end of the year, the school play, I can go on and on! The best part of this school is the heart and soul of the wonderful people that teach our children there. They love what they do and it shows! Pros: Everything!! Early morning drop-off, field trips, love it! Cons: Costs money, but all the best investments in life do. more

The BEST elementary school EVER. 3/15/2010

When my son started to get bored (& misbehave) at our neighborhood public elementary, we knew it was time to send him to a school where he would be challenged and engaged. We investigated two other private schools, both with fairly traditional classroom settings but boasting that their curriculum was ""a year ahead"" of most public schools. Pros: the headmaster, the curriculum, the whole program Cons: it's not free (but worth the investment) more
