I deposited a stock certificate with my local branch. 3 weeks after the deposit it still wasn't in my account, so I went in and asked about it. They were going to look into it. 2 weeks later it still wasn't there. I went back and was told "We're on top of it sort of". 2 weeks later I went back and the branch was closed. I proceeded to call TD Waterhouse weekly since my new nearest branch was over 30 minutes away. They never got back to me. I took off from work to go to the branch 30 minutes away and was told they were sorry and would look into it. Still nothing. Only after threatening to report them to the SEC did they resolve it. And it only took them 2 days to straighten everything out once they bothered to fix the problem.
