Best Sushi in South Broward 9/11/2011

I recently discovered this excellent sushi spot in Broward. I must say that the sushi is excellent and the size of the rolls are huge compared to other places, the prices are right and the flavors are delicious. The place looks good & smells good it looks clean and welcoming. The service is great and the waitreses are friendly and they speak good english. It was hard to find a good sushi restaurant but from now on this is my new spot. They also deliver in the area. I highly recomend the Cooper city Roll the BOMB! more

Without a doubt, Sushi Sogo is a quality restraunt in every possible way. The menu is remarkable and the options are unique in presentation and thrilling to the taste buds. I have been visiting Sushi Sogo on special occasions for many years but recently I'm so pleased they are under NEW MANAGEMENT . Even though I have never been dissappointed in any aspect of the total dining experience, now the place looks, taste, and feels better. The best Sushi experience I have had in Florida, I got it at Sushi Sogo. My OMG restaurant. more

You can always tell the people who have never worked in the service industry... a 10% tip and your never going back... Their food is good enough that they won't miss your business .They probably ran you off for your crappy tipping. I hope your employer doesn't dock your pay when you have a busy day at work and don't perform all your duties at your best. The food is excellent and the service is great. Always pleasant and attentive. delivery is great too! been eating there since they opened! more

We've been regulars here for years. We'll never spend another dime here -- not after the waitress demanded that we increase her tip, and held us hostage until we complied.\r \r You got about $3 more that night, and you lost all the money that we would have spent there, for the next 10 or 15 years. Very smart.\r \r Pity. The food is usually good (although it was mediocre that night), and the service is usually okay -- although it had been awful that night, which was why we had intended to leave a minimal tip. 10% wasn't good enough for you, huh? Even when you had done a terrible job.\r \r Sayonara. more

I'm a hard to please customer in any arena and my husband is a chef. We've been dining here since we found it about 4 yrs ago. We dine usually twice a week, once minimum. Never sent anything back, never had a problem with service. In fact, the service is so good that sometimes I don't notice my salad bowl gone until I go to dip my tempura in my dressing (I save the left over dressing in the bottom of my salad for dipping). The fish is FRESH, the price is right and no cheap portions here. AMAZING HAPPY HOUR dinners that include soup AND salad. Plenty of choices on the happy hour too, whether you want hot or cold, sushi, fish, chicken, or meat. My favorite part about the place is their sauces. Flavorful Kimchee, eel sauce ummmm, homemade ginger and miso dressing. The tempura is an appetizer must for us every meal and now they're serving Kama our new favorite dish. I promise you won't be disappointed. more

BEST SUSHI AND SERVICE 12/17/2008

I have been going to this restaurant for 13 years. NEVER have I had an incident where the service was poor. I think the person complaining in this post is from NAMI's and just wants to ruin the reviews. Good food, good service, and 13 years of it. The sushi is amazing, however, I never go there. Why? The management is horrible. The owner, also known as the ""troll"", is the MOST obnoxious creature on this planet. When I dine in, she has a tendency to argue with me. When I get take out, she can't help but to argue with me. The worst part is, she'll argue with me over the most ridiculous things, even when i'm just trying to get my food and go. She treats her employees with no respect. I don't support businesses that verbally abuse their employees. Sushi Sogo is a horrible place. Pros: good sushi Cons: horrible atmosphere more

I posted a positive rating before for this restaurant before, but recently I have not been able to set foot in this restaurant without having some trouble with the owner. I actually witnessed the owner screaming at a waitress who was crying and approached her about it, and since then, I haven't been able to go near that place. Poor Service 2/12/2003

Went to the place & ordered a SHRIMP tempura apptzer & received 75% vegetables? w/ 25% shrimp. When complained, was told that I had to ask prior to ordering. + still was chrgd for it. Pros: cheap Cons: Worst Service more
