Coming from Chicago and Seattle, I have been surprised by what people consider ""great"" sushi in Minneapolis. Have been to most sushi restaurants in Minneapolis, I have been unimpressed, not bad quality but consistently small and overpriced compared to other cities. Thought Sushi Tango was one of the better, but after a second time of receiving very unfresh fish on a slow night, I have reconsidered. After complaining very politely, the owner (Bob?) came out, checked out the fish in the display case and declared it ""fine."" (Although the server, another customer agreed what I was served didn't smell right). To add insult to injury I was charged for this item! Server seemed mortified, but oh well. I guess I will take the next $1000+ plus I spent in this place over last couple years and spend it some place else. Let's hope it's the only consequence from this experience! I guess it's back to Fuji Ya.
Pros: Location
Cons: Sushi freshness very inconsistent
