I bought a strawberry cake for my father in laws 70th birthday on Friday. The cake was absolutely awful, no flavor, icing was gritty and greasy tasting. No one finished their cake and over half was left. I called on Monday to let them know about it. Their response was infuriating. Basically they told me I should bring in the rest of the cake so they could determine if there was anything wrong with it. I told them that the cake was put in the trash and they replied, "well, we can't really help you then, sorry". I paid 27.00 for a cake no one ate and they couldn't even apologize or ask if there was something they could do to make it up. I wasn't expecting a refund, but an apology would have been nice. I will now shop at Beth's Bake Shoppe or Celebrations. The cakes are more expensive, but they use real buttercream, not something out of a bucket. I don't mind paying more when I get good customer service. It is a shame, because I have spent hundreds of dollars at Supreme, have always bought all my cakes there. They lost a good customer through their "who cares" attitude. I am posting this same review on all sites I can find for Springfield, MO.
Cons: The way they handle customer complaints
