The place is very clean always, they offer excellent package deals in bulk, have friendly and knowledgeable staff, and its in a convenient location. I love this place for tanning and would recommend for anyone living within 5 miles. more

I am from Las Vegas and I usually tan at the salon in the Palms Place. I was visiting a friend, she and I decided to tan at their Studio City location. I HAD NO IDEA you can tan at all five of their salons!! I purchased a package in Vegas and I can use my tans in Los Angeles. How great it that! Who says $29.99 unlimited tanning is a rip off? That is a great deal. I highly recommend Sunset Tan to anyone who is looking for good service, cheap prices, and have intentions of traveling cause you can tan at any of their locations! Yeahyyy! Pros: Clean and you can tan at all five of their locations!! Cons: The salon is a bit hidden in the shopping center. more

we just opened a sunset tan in redondo beach. we have an amazing staff, great bosses, and really great deals! come by and check it out! you can't complain if you have never experienced it. Pros: great staff,clean salon,great deals Cons: nothing! more

You people will complain about anything 5/20/2008

I have been to just about every tanning salon in the area and it seems to be a requirement to be rude when you work at tanning salon. I was expecting to have a miserable experience at Sunset Tan based on the reviews but was pleasantly suprised. Some blonde girl and Breana were very helpful and not pushy at all. They were very imformative. They made me feel very comfortable and I am happy I gave it a shot. TO ALL OF THOSE WHO COMPLAINED... YOU PROBABLY WILL COMPLAIN ABOUT ANYTHING AND WERE LOOKING TO FIND SOMETHING WRONG. I would HIGHLY recomment sunset tan! Pros: staff, pretty salon Cons: long wait for bed more

i recently visited sunset tan in studio city...i was greeted with a super friendly staff and was given a detailed description of the tanning services and packages....i am trying to get nice color before summer gets here...i purchased a pack with sessions in a high powered bed that never expire!...the quality and service were perfect!...i can't wait to get my amazing tan!!!! The services they offer are amazing! They have the best technology for beds of any salon in LA which is VERY important to me concerning my skin care. More importantly, the more you buy the more they'll hook you up, dropping the price of each session in a package significantly. YOU HAVE TO TRY THE CALIFORNIA TAN TOWERS!! I tan all the time. I know the difference between a good salon and a bad one! Sunset Tan in Studio CIty is def one of the best!! The girls are SOOO sweet and they NEVER try to push any sales on me. As soon as i come out of the bed i see my color right then and there! It's amazing! I feel so comfortable there i would trust my time, money, and tan there in no time!!!! Thanks Sunset tan!!! I have been tanning for many, many years; and never have i ever received such service. The moment i walked in, i was greeted with a beautiful smile and a "" Hi how are you today?"" The guy showed me around and showed me all the beds including two different kinds of spray tan. I was amazed! It looked like a fancy club inside! I was sure if a place looked this nice, prices were going to be through the roof! BUT i was wrong. They have the best prices around! I couldnt believe I got that big bed in the window for $12 a session!! Parking was so easy, and when i left i couldnt wait to go back! I love Sunset Tan!!! How did I not know Sunset tan is also in Studio City? 11/13/2006

I first saw sunset tan on MTV and E! I just realized they have a location on Ventura and Laurel Canyon! My Tan Bod is back! Thanks to Sunset! Love the 6second spray tan that air dried me! You guys are the best and only $15 a spray tan!!! Pros: machines more

OMG!! 2/19/2006

I never used to tan because my skin is sooo sensitive, so i was a little nervous when i first went. Not only was i given a tour of the salon and educated on the whole tanning process, the lady, i think her name was Ryan, was soo helpful and sweet to me! AND because I am all over the place, their 5 locations are SOO convienent! The salon is beautiful, my color is amazing...if you havnt been there yet... GO!! :) Pros: beautiful color, many locations, great employees more

Gorgeous Salons & Great Service!!! 10/6/2005

I heard of this place from T.V, it looked really cool, so I found one near me and checked it out. I've never seen a tanning salon that looked like this- candles, fountains, frosted glass doors, plasma T.V's...I felt like I was in a nightclub! The girl who helped me (Joy) looked like a supermodel, and I expected her to be snotty, but she wasn't at all. She showed me the whole place, all the ""levels"" of tans, and the different spray tanning options. I thought it was going to be super expensive but it wasn't at all. I HIGHLY recommend this place to anyone. I think they have several locations, they said you could use any of them once you were a member.
