I go to Sunset for the freshest and choicest meat produce and that reason only. Its generally crowded I would agree but just the fact that the meat produce here is so fresh and the cost factor are the major driving forces for me to get my requirements here. Really recommend them for doing a great job. Some people maynot like this place coz of the crowd but trust me the goods make up for the time and effort. more

Crowded and Fresh meat and produce 12/29/2005

I go to this place very often because it has all my needs in one place. The produce and meat are all very fresh and I don't need to go to separate stores to buy these items. The place isn't exactly neat nor is it big. It is very small and the isles are very crowded. It is hard to get through the place and people who shop there are sometimes quite rude. I have been hit many times and never heard a word of sorry. more

Sunset Super is the closest thing San Francisco has to Ranch 99. This is the place to go for everything Asian food related. They have a great fresh seafood and fish section, as well as produce. And more importantly, a huge snack section where you can satisfy your cravings for Pocky, Pretz, and japanese gummy candies. And dried cuttlefish, but the latter might be just me. Could be a little cleaner and sometimes there are some funky smells, but it's a small price to pay for good eats. more

Very Busy 8/10/2005

Sunset Super is always busy with many grocery shoppers. Parking is very hard to find even though they have a small parking lot. This store sells Asian foods at low prices. The line at the cash register isn't too long. This store is always filled with people and it is pretty popular in the Sunset. more
