Sunrise Medspa

My lower back was killing me so I purchased an appointment through Groupon for Sunrise Medspa. It was the worst massage I've ever had and I've had plenty. I flinched as his finger nails dug into my skin and when his massage was pinching my skin, he asked me what was wrong I asked for some massage oil. He left the room for a few minutes with the door wide open and returned to squirt cold moisturizer directly on my back. He proceeded as if he was scrubbing a car, climbed onto the massage table with his crotch against my leg and left the room twice more with the door open again. He wet a towel in the sink and dripped water on my head before washing off the moisturizer. When he finally started massaging the sore spot on my lower back I said, ""that's it, thank you,"" in Korean and he said he was a Mexican from Argentina and went on to 'massage' or should I say 'scrub' areas unrelated to my pain. Each area consisted of 2 or 3 strokes here and there as if he had ADD. After the massage was over he insisted on teaching me ridiculous exercises. I just wanted to run out the door. I asked him if he spoke Korean and he said he WAS Korean. He was really creepy. A total amateur! I wound up with bruises on my spine from his scrubbing directly on my spinal column. Save your money and avoid this insane torture! I can't believe all the 5 star reviews, they must be either fake or written by idiots. more

Over the past weekend, while hiking, I over extended my knee. My friend said I should try acupuncture. It sounded interesting so I figured why not. I found this place through Google and went since it was close to my house. That was a big mistake! It started off great. I walked in and the I was greeted friendly, waited for my appointment and then went to go meet with Dr. Won. Here's where it all goes wrong. She's the Acupuncturist. During our initial consultation, she didn't seem to care where I was hurting cause she was rushing through the consultation. She kept pushing me to purchase a package that locked me into buying 6 treatments in advance. Since this was my first time, I had no idea this wasn't standard. During the treatment, MAN! did it hurt! She kept cutting me off when I was trying to explain that my knee was the problem and kept driving needles in me. Ouch! The only redeeming quality of this place is the massage. It was really therapeutic. And believe me, you'll need after the acupuncture. more

I have been coming to this place for year. In my first visit a had thorough initial examination for my skin and Dr. Won answered all of my question. We made a plan, I got Silk Peel Microdermabrasion with Laser Genesis (5 treatments), then I got my first Radiesse in February 2010 it is still perfect in my face. After all I had several procedures done and they have turned out amazing. I am very pleased with the result, beautiful work, kind and knowledgeable doctor and great staff (Lana, Anna-Maria). Very friendly an excellent service. I am 36, but my skin now looks like 20 year old girl :) more

I have been to Dr. Won a few times now for facial fillers and it never ceases to amaze me how wonderful her ""work"" is. I am only in my 30's but have a very slender face that is prone to laugh lines. I went to a pricey Plastic Surgeon for my first experience and walked out hoping that I hadn't made a mistake. My face was so swollen (& bleeding), it took me a few days just to know how I was going to look... But going to Dr. Won was a totally different experience. more

The prices are reasonable, and beyond all that, the team is a cut above. I am on treatment 4 out of 5 for mesotherapy, and I am seeing some amazing results! I couldn't be happier - In fact, I truly ook forward to my appointments with Dr. Wan. She is an amazing professional who is extremely knowledgeable. I think her background in acupuncture makes her extremely skilled in giving injections. I have felt absolutely no pain, and after treatments, I am able to go on with my day - this includes my 2 mile run and plenty of physical activity. If you listen to her and adhere to her directions, mesotherapy at Sunrise provides extremely effective results! Lana, at the desk is a joy! She is kind and knowledgeable. It feels like I am visiting friends when I enter the office, and it adds to the overall enjoyable medspa experience.
