Best Chinese BBQ 7/14/2010

Surprisingly, the best Chinese BBQ in Chicago I had was here, not in Chinatown. I've had Peking Duck in Beijing, and this was the closest I've had to it back in Chicago. There was also a great beer selection at good prices to wash it down. For something a little different, go with the eggplant. The main downside was that service was a bit slow. Best Duck in Chicago! 3/30/2006

Every time I go there, I gorge myself. The food is excellent authetic Chinese and they give you large portions. The place is an eyesore, but you forget about it since the food is sooo good and service is outstanding. This is a good place for groups. One of my favorites, especially when I have a taste for duck. Yummy and cheap 5/12/2005

Sun Wah is just great, cheap, authentic Chinese, as opposed to Chinese-American, food. I had a whole crab with a delicious sauce for about 10 or 11 bucks. We also had really flavorful noodles with vegetables - a "small" portion that could feed a two or three people was about $6. Bad Bar-B-Q 12/2/2002

I went there for the first and last time 12/2/02. I ordered Bar-B-Q Pork over Fried rice for take out. The rice was terrible and the pork was cold and had no taste. I knew I was in trouble when they wanted to charge me .25 cents for soy sauce. The place does look good from the outside and that made me stop and check it out.
