What a difference a new manager makes.
I used to take my vehicle there (Las Vegas, Buffalo and Washington) for everything, from simple oil changes to a complete transmission overhaul. Not anymore, never again.
A new manager is there beginning January, 2011. Now, his rudeness, arrogance and condescension has infected the entire shop. They have, more likely HE has, misdiagnosed problems and recommended major, expensive repairs my car simply did not need. He blamed all my vehicle's woes on the one major job his shop didn't get to do, most likely out of spite and jealously, and possibly in an attempt to weasel his way out of warrantying his own shop's work.
I took my vehicle to two other mechanics to cross check his diagnoses. They showed me exactly how he was dead wrong. There was nothing wrong with my vehicle. Thank goodness I took it elsewhere, or this guy would have soaked me for hundreds, if not thousands, of dollars.
I don't know if all this is due to him being incompetent or dishonest, and frankly, I don't care. His attitude is what soured me on this establishment. He doesn't listen to his customers. (Trust me, I KNOW my car, and I know how to fix most of it. There are just certain jobs I don't have the tools or the time for) He is arrogant and condescending . He talks AT you. He will either lie, make things up, or generally BS you in an attempt to make you believe he is always right and you are always wrong.
I will never take my vehicle to any Sun Auto Service anywhere, EVER AGAIN.
