Fun place to go 3/23/2009

The prices here are decent and the atmosphere is very nice and friendly, not uppity at all. Piano sing-along music in the evenings is fun, and this place is right next to the hotel. For some reason, the lunch menu was more expansive than the dinner menu, and I wish the menu had more healthy type veggie related items, but the food was tasty. Would recommend. Pros: Nice atmosphere, live music, good food, close to hotel Cons: Limited menu more

Late Night Laughter 11/22/2006

I was so surprised at how much fun I had at the Golden Bee. I thought it was a place for old rich people only! My friends and I stopped by after a formal event one night to find we were extremely overdressed. The place was packed and everyone was signing along (with books!) to great old songs. We ordered drinks and sang right along. The waitress flicked us with little bee stickers on our chests and we took lots of photos. The other people in the bar were fun and all talked to us, we felt like we fit right in being in our 20s. We stayed until the bar closed. I can't wait to go back! Pros: So Much FUN singing along and being silly, free snacks, friendly atmosphere Cons: ok so its expensive.. its the Broadmoor more

Not worth the aggravation 11/20/2005

For the quality of service, or should I say ""lack of quality"", the prices on the menu...assuming you have an up to date one...are too expensive. I waited for over 45 minutes to be asked if I'd like to order anything then waited another half hour to actually get it. As I stared at an empty glass for over an hour I decided it was time to leave...I was pretty thirsty at that point. If you thought it was difficult getting a drink in this place, try getting your bill! Lesson learned... stay away from 5 star taverns, it's all a lie. Cons: unfriendly, expensive, slow more
