I'm giving this Subway only a fair rating because Subway sandwiches are the best on the market for health and value. However, this particular Subway is less than par. 1.) They have a REAL problem with being stingy about how much they put on your sandwich! If you don't want lettuce or other vegetables, but you want a little more of another vegetable, you'd think they would figure it out that they didn't give you several of the others, and would gladly put double the vegetable that you DO like...not true with this store! Believe me, I've ordered at this store many times, and it's NEVER any different. They always act like it's causing them physical pain to put extra tomatoes or black olives on your sandwich, even though you requested none of the others, in essence saving them money by not using all of their ingredients. Yet, they act like you are breaking the bank by requesting double black olives, or others. 2.) They overcharge! I was charged $9.00 for a footlong, and I didn't even SEE a $9.00 item on their menu. I eat at Subway all of the time, from Wichita, Kansas to all parts of the continental United States. I've never been charged that amount for a sandwich at Subway...ever. 3.) They stand behind the counter speaking in Spanish to each other. I live in a predominantly Spanish community, and am not in the slightest degree racist. However, it is poor business tactics to carry on that way. In this country, as in all countries, we have certain business practices that make people feel comfortable in your business. For them to be bilingual in this community is a necessity. But to speak in a ""foreign"" language to each other in a country where English is the predominant language, is poor business and a slap in the face to all US citizens who buy their product. It would take a lot more than this to make me stop eating at Subway, but I'm not happy with this repeated experience.
