Best Salon In The Valley...Great Color!!! 1/19/2006

I have very hard-to-work with hair, it doesn't take color very well. I went in with Blonde hair and came out with the most beautiful chestnut color....Tanya is a genius with color, and my cut is great too. Suburbia has a great atmosphere and an awesome staff. The best salon in L.A. 1/13/2006

Suburbia Salon is a gem. Beautiful, hip, and extremely friendly. It's a great location if you work at the studios, and it's worth the trip over the hill if you don't. Eyelash Extensions 1/12/2006

Here's the deal, you can go to any other spa and get eyelash extensions, but Erin is truely amazing, the cost is $300, and $40-$60 for touch ups, but well worth it. I can't believe I have been living without them all these years. Erin is the only Esthetician at Suburbia so book your appointment soon, she is very busy..... I highly Recommend Erin, oh yeah, Her Facials and Waxing Services are awsome too. Pros: valet parking, friendly front desk more

BEST IN TOWN 1/10/2006

My stylist at Suburbia is RICK. He is absolutely the BEST! I get compliments on my hair all the time!! The cut and color is always great. Rick is always friendly, funny and very polite. The salon has a great atmosphere and the staff is very helpful and friendly as well. Suburia is the BEST in town. I would recommend Rick and Suburbia to everyone. more

It doesn't get any better than this!!! 11/11/2005

This salon has really got it together! I had extensions with Rick, & The entire experience was simply amazing! After the consultation, he showed me the exact colors we'd be using and showed how it would compliment my skin and eye color. When the appointment came, he worked carefully on my hair and before I knew it, my medium length locks were now long, luscious, authentic looking hair!! Rick is so talented, funny and sweet- I would HIGHLY recommend him to EVERYONE! (And I do!) I also had a Microdermabrasion/Diamond Peel with Erin. Her services have improved my skin DRAMATICALLY. They GREATLY reduced the appearance of fine lines, and smoothed out my once scarred skin. Her room is so relaxing- the music, the dim room with candles, and her expertise really impressed me. Thursday Wine & Cheese Night!!! 11/10/2005

Do yourself a favor and book an appointment well in advance for Suburbia's Thursday's ""Wine & Cheese"" night! I just left there, and the place was still happening! A great hair cut and color (in my opinion, Jenn is the best in town), and toss in a couple complimentary glasses of delicious Chardonnay, and I'm a happy camper! Found My Perfectionist 10/24/2005

I have never been so impressed with a salon or a stylist before. Usually, in my exprience with hair stylists, I tell them what I like, and they do what they think is best. I was fed up with my old stylist and was on the prowl, looking for a new one. When I stepped into Suburbia last Saturday, I was pleased with the surroundings, but still a little nervous about the potential outcome of my hair. (I'm a bit of a perfectionist myself, I'll admit, but hey, who isn't?) I was assisted by Tanya, one of the most professional and sweetest hairdressers I've ever met, and I could tell right away that she is a woman with an eye. Talk about perfectionalism! She understood exactly what I wanted, and MADE IT HAPPEN!!! I have found what I was looking for and I will NEVER go anywhere else. Thankyou Tanya!! This place is full of polite and professional stylist that do great hair. I saw classy, trendy, vampy, soccer mom, and aging starlet all walk out the door looking great. I have been faking blonde for years and my color and cut looked great. Pros: good parking, great products more

I did a double take driving past the salon at how bustling it was even before noon on a weekday! I looked up Suburbia Salon on Citysearch, read the wonderful reviews, then booked an appointment for a few days later (took advantage of the free conditioning treatment by mentioning Citysearch). If you haven't been there, you must. If you have, you know how great this place is. And, conveniently located, easy valet parking, a great hair cut and even better color (Jennifer). I always wanted hair extentions but was scared to do it until I met Nuria at salon suburbia she explained every question I had and made me feel confident and the results are fantastic I never received so many compliments on my hair before. Making changes 3/11/2005

I had been going to the same hair stylist for 10 years. Not much changed in those years. Needless to say, my cut was looking a little drab. On a whim one Saturday, I walked into this sweet looking salon. As I approached the staff, I explained my hair dilema. They took me in and made me feel comfortable. The atmosphere was warm and bright. The experience as fabulous. They even talked me into adding a few highlights and in the end, I can honestly say I have never had a better cut. more

After years of having my hair colored and styled by a ""celebrity"" stylist at a posh Beverly Hills salon at Beverly hills prices, I decided to follow up on the ""buzz"" of Suburbia, which felt like an adventure into ""The Valley"". The trip over Coldwater and down Ventura Boulevard was a breeze. The appointment began on time, and I received equal to better results without having to take out a loan to pay for everything. LA's Best Kept Beauty Secret Unveiled ... 3/6/2005

My best hair salon experience EVER! A friendly receptionist, great stylists who remember and listen, ultra-hip setting, clean and comfortable. They have a great program that keeps track of color formulas, client history, and including digital pictures of previous visits! New Hot Spot For Color 3/6/2005

I made a rare trip from Beverly Hills to meet girlfriends for lunch at Firefly, and based on their recommendation, made an appointment at Suburbia later than afternoon. It was a hair style and color changing experience to say the least. Jen is amazing, a true artist, and I will return again and again. When I walked into to Suburbia Salon I felt like I was in a West Hollywood, Beverly Hills quality, but the people were friendly and so nice that it was such a pleasure getting my hair done. Recently transplanted from New York, I was highly doubtful I would find a salon as cutting edge and hip out in Los Angeles. Imagine my surprise to find one on trendy Ventura Boulevald in Studio City! Great atmosphere, totally upscale, cute gift shop, and great day spa! And lots of other great shops and restaurants in easy walking distance! Suburbia makes a great day trip!!!
