Keep Looking. 11/2/2010

I have lived there for 11 months now, and I'm itching to get out. Not only are the front staff girls completely incompetent -- forgetting to charge our rent or take out our water bill, even though our credit cards are on file to be automatically charged -- but they are extremely rude and unhelpful. The place is beautiful and undergoing many updates, but not worth all of the stress from the lack of help at the front desk and sleepless nights from the noise levels.\r \r We have been extremely flexible with them when they need to show our apartment and with issues with the water, but this is just completely getting out of control. I?ve had to bring up an issue once per month before it was ever addressed. \r \r Stonebridge management expects you to bend over backwards for them, but offers absolutely nothing in return. more

I lived here 5/11/2010

Stonebridge was loud, poorly built. I felt unsafe often. I actually had a security guard make me extremely uncomfortable by making an advance at me. I thought they were supposed to make us feel safe. The residents consist of thugs and strippers from the local strip clubs. My car was stolen once from Stonebridge and broken into once-they tried to steal it but got the ignition 1/2 way out and gave up. That place sucks! more

Save your money. You can easily find better housing, accommodations and service in the nearby section 8/low incoming housing projects located down on W. 25th Street. Douglas Price, Cyndi Kriz and the "K&D Group", the word is spreading. It always brings a smile to my face when I walk the 1500 block of Detroit and see all of the vacant units in the "Waterfront" building. more

would not recommend 11/15/2009

My neighbor blasted music all night and day, my roommate was hearing impaired and still could hear it with her hearing aids taken out. The neighbor had speakers in his window. We filed numerous complaints weekly and security was up many times. Nothing was done to remedy this problem. we were told that the neighbor was deliquent on his rent and the eviction process had began, this never happened. We complained about smells of marajana in the hallways, lots of crime. the management would prefer criminals then educated business persons living here. If you are working and do not have a criminal background I would not recommend living here. Pros: location Cons: terrible management, crime more

Looks are deceiving... 3/30/2008

While the facility has its benefits (nice floorplans, great views), the drawbacks of Stonebridge Waterfront Apartments cannot be ignored. Security is seriously lacking. In my time at Stonebridge, there have been at least eight different security guards, none of whom make me feel truly secure. Hallway noise is a huge problem, due in part to the poorly constructed walls and residents who treat the establishment like a college dorm. If Stonebridge is going to portray itself as ""luxury living"", then they may want to be more selective about their potential residents. I'm not sure if doing background checks would help, but it would be a start. I cannot justify paying $1000 a month, only to deal with piles of sick in the hallway, parties in the hall at 5 a.m. and general safety concerns. As summer approaches, the problems seem to worsen. This may be related to the poker tournaments at Nautica and the popularity of the Flats in warmer weather. Pros: View, floorplans, location Cons: Safety, noise, parking, gym more

The Best 10/22/2007

Beautiful View! The apartment is very spacious compared to apartments in the downtwon area. They are also very convenient to the freeway and west 25th to avoid downtown traffic. more
