Can usually make it here in less than an hour. Some good expert runs and decent prices on lift tickets.

Poor place for Kids 1/9/2010

I took my 3 yo up for hist first ski lesson. I know this may seem young, but the kid can ride my 7 yo's razor, and is quite athletic. His 1.5 hour lesson was not much more than glorified baby sitting, but to top it off, he was not allowed to use the magic carpet area after his lesson since he was not ""in class"". After paying $200 for lessons for my boys, this seemed ridiculous that my toddler would not be allowed to use his all day lift ticket in an area that he can ski in. I strongly suggest Snoqualmie Summit which has a free carpet for younger kids. Pros: Great for experienced skiers Cons: Poor resort for beginners more

best ski area 2/18/2004

I would recommend Stevens as the best ski area overall. After using their website and the virtual tours it gave me a good idea of what to do before going. The day I went the powder was fantasic and the people working there are pretty cool too. Later more
