Steve Poltun has some serious mental problems and beware before dealing with him and his so-called company. I have found him to be dishonest, a game player who intentionally sets out to hurt people, has big time issues and seriously is someone never, ever to deal with. In my opinion he is very, very disturbed. I have been told that he has hurt just about every person he has dealt with, business or personal. He has serious problems so BEWARE and DON"T deal with him! I have been told that he was forcibly checked in to a mental hospital for evaluation, harassed his former girlfriend, was evicted from his suburban home after it was sold, ripped off a landlord by breaking a lease and never paying it, intentionally hurting good people who have helped him...........stay way! He is not a professional person, he is a your worst nightmare!!!!!! more

What can I say, dealing with Steve Poltun is no treat. On a one to ten scale I would give him a six, simply because he tried at first to listen, but that didn't last long. After that he ran his mouth and personally I thought the guy had lost it. His office is located in a loft, where he lives and he isn't very organized. At that point he fell to about a five. Next getting him to answer his phone or make call backs, what a joke. I would never do business with this company again. And to top it off I've been told he is trying to sell real estate. Another joke as he left an apartment in a building where a colleague of mine lived and never paid the owner and just broke the lease. Bad news!!!!!!!!!!! more

Steve Poltun Entertainment is a far cry from a real entertainment agency. He has a so-called home office and is not located in the suburbs or on Michigan Ave either. After speaking to numerous country clubs in the suburbs, most of which will not even touch him as he is as they claimed, the unstable personality you don't want to be doing business with, as you never know what mess he is going to create next. He seemed very irritated when I asked about other clubs or people he has dealt with in the recent years and simply wanted something other than negative comments to go on, but he is clearly very emotionally unstable and not someone to do business with. It is always important I think to look at all of the information that you can obtain when wanting to work with a company or person, this one though has way too many red flags and his manner was very unprofessional. I do think there may have been a time when he may have tried harder to please the customer, but those day are over and in my opinion, it is time to move on from this business. more

To begin with, Steve Poltun writes his own reviews as booksdate, which to me is never a good sign, I wish I had known that before dealing with him. In my opinion he isn't the most professional person I've dealt with as his emotions get way out of control for the situation, after all entertainment isn't exactly brain surgery. I was surprised that his appearance also was less than professional as he wore clothes that were too small for him and he was rather heavy. Not exactly the look I was used to dealing with in this industry. He lacked punctuality and seemed disorganized when he arrived. Personally, I wouldn't deal with him again. His office is in his apartment, since he no longer has an actual office in the city or suburbs. I'm not sure that he really takes his business all that seriously. Nonetheless, it is always wise to check out businesses before getting involved with them. more
