Nothing but the Best of the Best. I have used Sterling Collision Center for 2 years now and they have always delivered nothing short of my expectation. My profession is driving race cars and they are always my go to for any dings to full crash damage repair. No mistakes can be made on a racecar or else it could dramatically effect the performance and safety. Every time they have gotten my GT3 Cup Car looking brand new and right on the factory pick-up point specifications. The work they do and within the time constraint they complete it by is quite impressive. I know anytime one of my racecars or street cars need work I will be sending it to the guys at Sterling. Great people and great work, not much more you can ask for. more

World Class Bodyshop 12/24/2011

The best quality job ever. I just had my Lamborghini 2007 bumper upgraded to the newer style and they did a fantastic job customizing it to fit like the original and matching the paint perfectly. Not only that they also fully and beautifully restored my 1988 M6 BMW with all OEM parts from Germany and WOW it looks amazing. I got both cars on the 22nd of December. This is the best Christmas gift I have ever received and thanks to the great team of Stering Collision Center. Ray the VP of Sterling has been a joy to work with. He kept me updated with the progress on weekly basis and worked with Evo Motors to make sure all the engine work is done. This has been the most amazing experience. Thank you. more

Great Work, Great Service 11/10/2011

I recently purchased a CPO Porsche Carrera S Cabriolet. Unfortunately, like all CPO cars, there was some underlying issues that didn't quite pass muster with me when I purchased it so I took the car to my dealership in Newport Beach to see what they recommended. In this case, the previous owner of the car looked like he had parked on top of a few curbs on more than one occasion and although there was no visible damage to the upper visible portion of the bumper, there were some pretty deep grooves and scratches on the underside, so I decided to have my dealer order me a new bumper and have the old one replaced. The dealer ordered up the new bumper for me and shipped my car over to Sterling Collision Center in Tustin who apparently does all of their certified Porsche body work. I was given the GM's contact info, Ray, and started dialogue with him on what I wanted him to do which was basically remove the old bumper, paint the new one and replace it on the vehicle. In addition to doing this, I also asked him if he could paint and install a fixed wing on my car in lieu of the stock spoiler, which he said would not be a problem. Car went in on a Wednesday and came out the following Thursday. It looked amazing. They matched the charcoal metalic paint beautifully and there is absolutely no visual difference between the bumper and the original body panels. The spoiler also looked just as good. Ray even returned all my original parts like I had requested. On the day of pick up, they took me into the warehouse and showed me everything they had done. They also wanted to make sure that I was 100% satisfied with the job they had done, which I was. Every person I talked to at the organization was friendly, responsive and eager to help. I would strongly recommend Sterling if you have any sort of exotic car or something that needs a little extra TLC... These guys are great! more

Sterling charged with FRAUD by OC District Attorney 9/2/2011

Google search: “Office of the District Attorney CHARGES 53 IN OPERATION STRAIGHT BODY” you will see Sterling Collision named as a defendant in Orange County District Attorneys auto insurance fraud case. Just check the defendant list. Sterling collision has LOST their BMW factory certification. Do not let them tell you that they are a BMW certified shop. After my accident, they painted my bumper with non factory paint and prep that did not match the rest of the car. The paint cracked soon after the repair. Their professional detailer left swirl marks all over the rest of the car's previously pristine paint job. When I brought the car back for numerous problems related to the poor repair, they would not honor their own warranty. If you Google the OCDA fraud case and complaints against Sterling you will see for yourself that this is a substandard shop. Avoid Sterling collision, don’t be fooled by the Lamborghinis parked out front. In the end, it is a cut-rate poor quality shop that will defraud your insurance company and leave you with more problems after they are finished. First Class Service 8/4/2011

Upon completion my vehicle looked fantastic. Furthermore, the attention their staff gave me was impeccable I knew on a weekly bases the status of my repairs and they made me feel like a million bucks. Their facility was very impressive and the technology they use to repair vehicles was mind boggling. A personal thank you to Sean who was as professional and positive as one could be. more

Do NOT take your metallic finish to Sterling Collision Center 6/29/2011

Had them repaint the left front of my silver metallic Porsche Boxster through a AAA claim.\r \r The Good: Timely repair. Informative friendly enthusiastic service. Facility and operations is impressive. Took a guided tour, was sold on the types of cars being repaired and the shop's interior appearances.\r \r Bad: Despite certificates, appearances and friendly service, I Would not take a metallic car to this shop again. They can't do the job exactly right. Clear coat came out impeccablly, but that's not that hard, and it was just about meaningless since they didn't match the color coat. Metallic is very difficult to work with, everything has to be just right. However with right training, experience, and good eye, it is not impossible to match metallic. Another shop, Bell Strauss, had previously redone the rear end of this same car and their work was invisible. It was perfect. Alas Sterling took over Bell Strauss. I went with Sterling partly because I had hoped they would inherit Bell Straus more

Bobby Kripf 2/25/2011

Last month I enjoyed my birthday with my family and friends. After the long day of fun I finally laid down to go to sleep when a loud bang came from outside. Lucky me a drunk driver slammed into my beautiful 3 series. After being up till 3 AM dealing with the insurance I was able to go to sleep. I awoke the next morning and called Newport Sterling BMW to have my car towed to the collision center. I was very upset and looking for some fast answers. I called in before my car even got there. The friendly staff told me nobody had been assigned to my file yet but that they would find out who was. After a short wait on hold Bobby was on the phone with me. He was great and took a lot of worry off my shoulders. He made himself readily available for me on short notice and met with me an hour later. When I got to the collision center the staff was extremely friendly and welcoming. Bobby came into the waiting room and introduced him self. Then he took me back were my car was were he walked me through the process and filled me in on what was going to happen. I could tell I was dealing with someone who was honest and trully concernd. Being someone who works in hospitalty this ment a lot to me. Bobby kept me up to speed on everything that was happening. After about a week the insurance company called me and told me my car was a total loss. Once again I was ready to find out what was going to happen next. Right after I hung up the phone with the insurance company Bobby called. He told me the news as well and made himself readily available so that I could come clean my car out and sign off the car. I could not of been happier with who I was dealing with. I just want to thank Bobby Kripf and all the Sterling Collision Group For there Honesty, Kindness and professionalism. We live in the Palm Springs area and got two estimates out here and then visited Sterling Collision in Tustin. We had Sterling do the repair. \r \r Our overall experience - they have a world-class facility, service that every organization should aspire to, and a General Manager with integrity and a great sense of fairness. \r \r With the myriad of on-line reviews and the uncertainty of who is doing the rating and their motivation, I would simply suggest visiting their Tustin facility and talking with either Bobby Kripps, client advisor, or Ray Shahi, the General Manager.\r \r Here was our experience. I recently took my 2011 Audi Q5 in for repairs. I was assisted by Mr. Bobby Krips which from beginning to end delievered a world class customer experience. He explained in detail the process and kept me informed in detail of any issues that came up. My car was in the shop for almost one month, not the shops fault but the so called good insurance company called Farmers which delayed the adjuster to come out, since it was their insured fault. At the end of this ordeal, my car was considered a total loss. I still had an amazing experience at the shop, from the cleanliness, professionalism, and dedicated customer service that all shops should be measured by. I recently took my Toyota Camry to Sterling for body repair, and I had an exceptional experience! I was reading some of the Citysearch reviews, and I believe that the negative reviews I read would not be happy ANYWHERE they took their vehicle. This shop is a high-line shop, judging by the other vehicles there, but I never felt like my vehicle and my patronage were not valued. Scott Berger handled my vehicle, and he did an outstanding job. He answered all questions, and my vehicle looks amazing. I would definitely recommend Sterling Collision. It was a very positive experience. more

The Phaeton is a difficult car to work on, but under the watchful eye of Production Manager Sean Russell, I was completely satisfied with the final result.
