Sterling Carpets & Flooring

This business was recommended to us by our parents and we couldnt be more happy with the end result. We bought a new house (a real fixer upper) that really needed new carpet and wood. We went to Sterling first to look at samples and were super impressed. They have a big showroom with lots of carpet rolls in stock and also wood and tile and vinyl. We ended up picking a carpet by Tuftex that we loved and was special order. The wood we got was one of their in stock pieces and it was great looking. We stopped at a few more stores just to price compare and Sterling was the lowest by almost 3000. I really liked their quick service and response time and the installers did a good job laying it. They were prompt and very nice and finished right when they said they would since was good as we had to move in that next day. Thier sales person answered all my questions and took very good care of my nervous wife :) Great store and great people. I would highly suggest going here for flooring. more

We highly recommend Sterling Carpets!!! They were extremely helpful in helping us select the carpet for our home. Besides the carpet being beautiful, it is of excellent quality. We love the stainmaster. We feel like we are in a new home. I can't express what a pleasure it was to deal with these people. They were very professional and answered all of our questions. The installers did a fabulous job as well. This is the best carpet and the best installation we have ever had. We are very very pleased. I would strongly recommend them to anyone. more

We have worked with Sterling Carpets on four different jobs in the past five years. Each and every time, Sterling exceeded our expectations. I appreciated the fact that this has been a family run company that has been in business for many years and seem to provide and honest and helpful approach to their trade. They have a wide variety of products and price points and their sales team was extremely helpful and patient in our selection process. They were able to beat competitor prices and provided high quality materials at a costly rate. Our tiles are absolutely gorgeous! Carpets were laid professionally, with no seams or grooves. As a matter of fact, I am so in love with the carpet in my current household, that I am putting the exact same one in our new home in just a few weeks. After so many experiences with Sterling, I no longer shop around and would never go anywhere else. The best in Orange County! more

About 11 years ago we used Sterling Carpet to purchase our carpeting and were very satisfied. Recently we decided we needed a change of color and style, even though our carpet was still in excellent condition. We went back to Sterling and once again received excellent service. The showroom was great with many choices,( even when you have one color in mind.) The delivery and install were worthy of praise, as they paid close attention to detail, and took care with my large pieces of furniture. My husband and I wanted to write a review to express how happy we were with sterling carpet. We just had our new stain master carpet put in and we couldn't be more happy. The service was the best we found at any of the other places we shopped and the prices were like ten dollars a yard less than the other three stores we shopped with. The showroom was huge and they had a very extensive selection of wood,tile and carpet. Installers were really nice and did a good job laying our patterned carpet. My mom has been going to these guys for years and now I see why. more

Had a good experiecne with them the three times I have used them. A friend told me about them a few years ago and they have been nothing but good. I recently had a rental unit I needed done by the next day and they had a bunch of rolls in stock to choose from and were able to put it in the next day. Also had a small bathroom of tile to do and they did that as well at a good price. I recommend them to anyone. Pros: good prices, lots in stock more

Did not install the expensive carpet I purchased correctly. I look at the visible seam in my living room everyday. The house was empty when they installed the carpet, but they overlapped the seams and used two different thicknesses of carpet padding. Buyer Beware!!!! more

I recently purchased my carpet from here and was very happy. Their service was great. The sales man Dan really helped me find something that would look great in my home and in my price range. I shopped around a few other stores too and found Sterling prices to be the best. They told me everything up front and didn't have all the add on's on the back end like a lot of the other stores I went to. Their installers were professional and hardworking and did a great job. The nice thing too about Sterling is that they have been around for over 40 years so they were very experienced and really took pride in their work. I have already had two friends use them and they were very happy as well. I highly recommend Sterling and plan on using them for my wood and tile now as well!!!!!!! Pros: good install, products offered that are hard to find elsewhere, awesome prices Cons: nothing more
