We bought our daughter's prom dress at Stella Maris and could not be more pleased. The staff were attentive and the alterations were perfect and done on time. A stress-free experience for prom dress shopping. more

I bought my bridal gown and bridesmaid's dresses through Stella Maris and I'm completely disappointed with the service and the way they treat me/my bridesmaids. I went in and tried dresses on, picked one that I loved. I made a comment saying ""At least I fell in love with a dress that's not white since it washes me out"" and the woman helping me agreed. When buying the dress she asked if I wanted white or ivory. I said ivory because she agreed that the dress I tried on wasn't white. When my dress came in it was definitely ivory, but even the fabric was different, and the dress looked to be in poor condition. I ended up taking the sample dress and didn't get a discount. When then thanking them for at least giving me the sample dress they told me to shh because they didn't want the other customers to know the mistake. They should have talked with me explaining at least the fabric differences before I made the purchase. When the girls picked their dresses, one of the people working asked my bridesmaid ""you're going to lose weight before the wedding, right? You only have a few months..."" which is completely unacceptable. There was no reason for that remark at all. If I hadn't already paid for my dress in full we would have left and picked something somewhere else. What an awesome shop! Stella herself was amazing. Very good kind and professional. Stella wants you to have what you want and love. The shop had a great selection and great prices. I highly recommend this shop. more
