Best Dermatologist with modern skin solutions! 8/15/2007

Dr. Ted Lain completely understood my skin and it's needs on the first visit! He was also very patient with all of my questions from the beginning. Unlike other dermatologists I've visited in the past, Dr. Lain helped me find solutions for my skin issues: acne scars and a few developing wrinkles. The best part was leaving Steiner Ranch Dermatology with a solution, and not leaving with a shelf full of products! Pros: Ambience, Knowledge, Modern skin care more

Most knowledgeable + Friendly Staff 8/14/2007

I have seen my fair share of dermatologists in my life and none have had better patient communication skills then Dr. Lain. His passion for good skin care comes across very nicely as he describes various ways to improve the health of my skin without making me feel awkward. As a guy, I normally wait for a very long time before calling on a doctor, but I am certainly glad that I called Dr. Lain. I learned how and why the sun effects our skin the way that it does and he also showed me several procedures that will help my skin look years younger. I recommend Dr. Lain to anyone who has been thinking about visiting a dermatologist for a consultation on new procedures - his relaxed atmosphere and great demeanor will leave you feeling very comfortable about your decisions. more

Dr. Lain ROCKS! 5/3/2007

Dermatologists are hard to come by in Austin, and if you get in ...it may take a while to do so. Living in the Steiner Ranch area, I was thrilled to see someone moving in! I quickly phoned for an appointment. Dr. Lain is exceptional! His personality is welcoming and pleasant. By the time you leave, you feel like you have known him and his staff for your entire life...ok for a period of time at least! Dr. Lain completely clarifies everything and doesn't leave you out in the cold. He and/or his staff are quick to return your call and makes certain you are at ease with every procedure! Thank you. Wonderful Dermatologist in Steiner Ranch Area 2/5/2007

I went to get Botox injections around my eyes and Restylane fillers for my cheeks and chin. Dr. Lain performed the treatments with great skill and care. His bedside manner was exceptional. He took the time to explain the treatment before hand and made sure that I did well while he treated me. There was no pain or discomfort from the Botox and Restylane injections. Dr. Lain did a fabulous job. I?m extremely satisfied with the results and will return to Dr. Lain for cosmetic follow-up and medical treatments. I highly recommend this very skilled, knowledgeable, attentive, and up with the latest in clinical and cosmetic dermatology physician. Pros: Great doctor with great results, outstanding care, great location, free parking; A+++ Cons: None. more

Dr. Lain is the best dermatologist in Austin!! 1/31/2007

I went here to get Botox done and my experience was simply wonderful. The front staff are super friendly and courteous. The waiting room is relaxing and they had great magazines! When I was taken back to see Dr. Lain he was friendly and very knowlegeable. His bedside manner was great - not pushy, just informative and compassionate. He did a FANTASTIC job and I was so surprised that I had no pain from the injections. I was very impressed with him as a Doctor and impressed with his skill. I will definitely be a return patient for cosmetic follow-up procedures and regular medical issues. I highly recommend that other moms who want to look as young as they feel give this office a visit!
