I purchased my latest fur from Staten Island Furrier. I went to the sale at Crown Plaza Hotel in White Plains. From the time I walked in, to the time I got my coat out of lay-a-way, the service was excellent. The staff was courteous and professional. I went with the hope of purchasing a fur jacket, to my surprise, they had exactly what I wanted. A mink hooded bomber. The seamstress did the most awesome job with my initials. Very fancy. I have not worn my coat yet, however, I am sure it is a head turner. Looking forward to purchasing a fur vest at the Dec./Jan. Sale in White Plains. Thank you Staten Island Furriers. more

Fantastic! 1/4/2011

First of all, I found my "dream" coat there. It is a sheared long "lion-colored" fur coat with a lush, beautiful collar to frame the face. As I am merely a middle-class person, I was so pleasantly surprised that they offer a lay-away plan (i.e., paying off the coat over a stipulated amount of months on an agreed upon date), which I found easy to work into my monthly budget. Moreover, the staff is amicable, attentive, and welcoming. Also, the price of the coat was reasonable for gorgeous piece that it is. I challenge anyone to point out a store with better coats, as well as a better staff and payment plan. Their number is 718-987-7434. Hooray for a great Staten Island store! Ania more

the staff was extremely helpful and the owner was very hospitable....willing to negotiate on prices too! great selection. i never felt like i was getting ripped off. more

great furs 7/19/2005

This store is quite expensive but if you want a nice selection they have it or can get it for you. They have all types of fur coats available, both short and long and many different styles to choose from. Just look around before and know your prices or you might be paying an arm and a leg. They carry all sizes and do repairs. more
