The Best Coffee Shop in Town!!! Starbucks provides you variety of hot and cold drinks depending on what you like. One of my favorites is their chocolate chip frappe. Totally what I'm looking for and can be paired up to any kind of breads and cakes they have. And also this is one of the best chillin' out spot with your friends. So, go and visit it now! more

Starbucks is an awesome coffee shop! The coffee was good and the desserts are great especially the cinnamon swirl, delicious! Definitely a wonderful spot for relaxing. I Highly recommended this to all of you. more

This store is simply the BEST! 10/30/2008

I have been shopping at the store now for over 4 years, and have to say they are the best. The staff are super friendly, helpful, everyone who works there seems to really want to help you. The store is clean, well merchandised, and the ""O"" organics products are really expanding, the range just keeps on getting larger. I have friends who think that shopping at Vons is a no no, but compared to my local Gelsons, Ralphs and Albertsons, this store trumps them all across the board. The management at this store must be first rate, I used to run a convenience store in England, and know how important good management is, they are certainly doing something right at this particular Vons, I look forward to shopping there so much. This particular Vons is first rate 11/17/2007

This Vons just completed a remodel and it has stepped up it's game. The produce section looks like a farmer's market and they expanded the deli into a full service cafe. Even the seafood deli area has improved in its appearance and selection. I really like the Asian grocer that works the produce section because he is always friendly to the customers and offers suggestions for fruit and vegetables. Pros: Best market in the area and I love the deli panini sandwiches more

I love this place 12/15/2002

Vons has excellent customer service and quality food. In a city where no one acknowledges that anyone else exists, it's nice to have people approach you. The staff consistently offers assistance without being pushy. Prices are fair, especially if you utilize the weekly specials and double coupon option. You don't have to wait in long lines like you do at the nearest Ralph's. After moving to LA and trying several grocery stores, I go nowhere but Vons. more

Can I show you where? 7/29/2002

Ralph's should take a lesson in customer service from this Von's. Every time I've asked where an item is, the staff has offered to walk me over and point it out---a few times I've taken them up on it, too. Also, if you have more than two bags, the bagger will offer to help you to your car---which I've also appreciated when stocking up on bottled water, etc. Lastly, the store just got a facelift in the last year. It used to be a tad skanky, but now it's gleaming and lovely. Pros: 24 hours, Customer Service, Fresh produce samples more

Good customer service 5/19/2002

I shop here when the Albertson's on Hillhurst is busy (after work/weekends). Products? It's a Vons - slightly cheaper prices overall, not as good quality produce or meats. But for the past four months or so, it seems they've stepped up their customer service - expanded checkout lines and even someone to guide you to the least busy line. Great when you're in a hurry. more

Wide Selection 5/19/2002

Ricecrazy (the previous poster) must live in a better neighborhood than me, because compared to my local market (the lackluster Pioneer), Vons is the bomb! Luckily, I drive past here after work daily. Otherwise, I'd be relegated to a life eating unripe produce and Wonder bread. The ""customer service"" can get a little creepy (it can be overwhelmingly ""friendly"" for an antisocial type). The produce guy, however, is very helpful and will always tell you what's on sale or what's especially good that day. more
