classic, but needs updating 6/11/2005

i've loved this ride since i first went on more than a few years ago, but since a few more star wars movies have come out since the ride opened, it could possibly use some updating. especially since episode 3 came out. maybe have each small "theater" feature a different movie highlight. either that, or rotate the movies throughout the day. either that, or have one version during the day for kids, and a more intense version at night for adults. Pros: fun ride, entertaining Cons: please update!!!!! more

    A flight-simulator ride, Star Tours is an intergalactic flight to the Moon of Endor--laced with Disney-style comedy, the commentary of C-3PO and a few unexpected bumps and thrills. You'll take a smooth trip at light speed into the galaxy--until your droid pilot Rex takes an unintentional detour that leads you into an asteroid storm, throwing you off course. Suddenly, you find yourself in combat with a massive Imperial Star Destroyer. Another turn finds you skimming over the top of the Empire's Death Star, directly into a high-speed battle against the dark forces. Not one of Disney's higher-tech rides, but perfect for anyone who ever dreamed of teaming up with Luke Skywalker or Han Solo.

    It's generally one of the shortest lines and tends to move quickly. Plus, the line weaves through a great set that gets you in the Star Wars mood.
