Wendy is an amazing stylist -- I've been going to her for a few years now and have never been disappointed by her abilities. She always listens to what I am looking for.

wendy is the absolute best hair stylist in all of denver. she cuts and colors my hair w/absolute perfection. i have never loved how my hair looks this much! i wouldn't go anywhere else.. my super picky fiance gets his haircut by wendy too and would fly across country if she ever moved b/c he's never had a better cut. if you need a new look or a new stylist you MUST go to wendy!! more

Duane is Excellent and Entertaining 9/14/2010

Duane has been my stylist for over a year and a half. He is creative and entertaining! I work in a professional environment where he can make my hair look corporate lame, and fun on the weekends!! The Star Salon also has a great energy and convenient with plenty of parking. Go see Duane for a new look, or even the same look with a little extra flare!! more

Wendy is Amazing!!!!! 9/13/2010

Moving from Chicago to Denver was hard enough but finding a hair stylist like mine in Chicago was even harder, until I found Wendy!!! She does such a great job and I always have so much fun with her!!! When I told her I needed a change she showed me how to style my hair different ways and showed me what products she uses to get my hair to look so fabulous. I love going to get my hair done whether it is a cut or color and it is because the outcome is always so great and so is the experience. more

Great stylist in Wendy 8/25/2010

Looks like I'm yet another picky customer who Wendy has helped. Always feel like I'm asking her to specifically cut each strand of her and Wendy always happily obliges. She is a true professional and very gracious. I'd recommend her hands down whether you need a funky, youthful cut or something more mature. I also followed Wendy from another salon and am very satisfied with my choice. more

Wendy Snyder Most Excellent Stylist! 8/25/2010

Wendy just moved to Star and I almost thought about just not transferring salons, not because I liked the other salon better more just lazy. But, I love the way Wendy cuts and colors my hair and I'm difficult and she puts up with me and I think she is definitely worth following. This was my first time ever following a stylist, because I really am that picky. Wendy has always done a great job on my hair, she picks wonderful colors to put on my hair and the cut is always just right. This last time was no exception. I have gotten so many compliments on my hair color and the way it's cut, just makes me feel even better about myself. I have to say each time I see Wendy my cuts get even better than the one before and Wendy I love love love my hair! I am convinced that when you find a wonderful, caring and personable stylist like Wendy you stick with them, I'm a lifer. Thank you Wendy! more

Wendy Snyder is my stylist at Star Salon. She recently moved there and I am thrilled with the location. It’s close to everything (for me) and there is an abundance of parking (and a coffee shop next door). They use great products and the atmosphere is warm and welcoming.\r \r Wendy is awesome. I am really quite picky about who does my hair only because it’s naturally curly and if cut wrong, looks terrible. I also color my hair and like most people, am particular about what I like. Wendy really listens to what your desires are and does a wonderful job at making sure you walk out of the shop happy. I can honestly say that I have never been so happy with how my hair looks. The cuts are always excellent and the color is spot on. Her techniques are clearly perfected and her amazing personality is a definite perk. I really couldn’t see myself going to anyone else – and for me that is huge. I would absolutely recommend her to anyone….so go!!\r more

LOOKING MY BEST, THANKS TO TAYLOR! 9/21/2009

A mutual friend recently recommended Taylor Collins at Star Salon. I have lots of gray hair, and I'm way too young to let them show! Taylor gave me an outstanding new look through a two-color process, with highlights added to my hair. This has allowed me go longer between colorings, and it looks great! People frequently comment on how wonderful my hair looks, and I feel young and way cute! more

I recently moved to Denver from Fort Collins. I had the same stylist for years and was reluctant to find someone new. Then I found Taylor. The over all experience was awesome. Not only did i leave with a rockin haircut but I had a great time! Thanks Lady! more

Taylor Collins Is Who You Want 9/19/2009

Wow!! What a great experience! I have been seeing the same person for over 10 years and have been stuck with this weird puffy look that just wasn't...good. I spent a whole morning researching reviews and websites trying in vein for the holy grail of salons. You know: affordable, a great look, great atmosphere, relaxing, on and on the list goes. So I found this salon with 17 excellent reviews and zero of anything less than excellent. Many specifically mentioned Taylor Collins. So hoping for the best, mentally prepared for the worst, I made an appointment. AND WOW!! She listened, discussed, and gave me the perfect look! It's fun, sophisticated, and looks great for my face and personality. I didn't even know what I wanted, just something better than what I had. I had no idea people could love their hair cut and style. I left there feeling like ""world, here I come! Watch Out!"" THanks, Taylor, you gave me a whole new attitude and I'm ready for the next phase of my life! You're the best! Pros: best service, great price more

Awesome Denver Salon 9/17/2009

I am kind of new to the Denver area and have had zero luck finding someone who can give me the cut and color that I want. That is, until I found Taylor at Star Salon.\r \r She was fun and friendly and really listened to what I wanted. As a result I have an AMAZING new cut and color and could not be happier with my entire experience at Star Salon!\r \r Thanks Taylor! Best Hair Around 4/11/2008

I have traveled around from city to city for work and along the way usually try to find a place to refresh my hair or just make a change. It is very important that the hair stylist that just knows what he is doing and I finally found one. The stylist I have found is Jed and Star Salon. He is informative and very educated in his craft. I will definately be making the trip back to denver to see Jed to get my hair done every 8 weeks. The staff are friendly and the atmosphere is calming and relaxing. Nice upbeat music.\r So I recomend to all looking for a wounderful hair stylist visit Star Salon and ask for Jed. Pros: great stylist and wounderful prices. more

Best Salon in Denver with the friendliest Crew 11/10/2007

Andee is one of the best in town. My hair always looks wonderful after she works her magic. Kare and crew are the friendliest. The salon is beautiful and in the most convenient area. I always tell anyone who asks to go the Star salon. Thanks for doing such a great job doing my hair. more

Star Salon is the best. The decor is great and makes it a relaxing place to go. The stylists are amazing. They listen to you and do exactly what you request whether it is an easy to care for cut or natural looking color. I love the convienent hours. They are even open on Sunday! Pros: EXperienced, creative stylists. Convienent hours Cons: None! more

Spacious, relaxing atmosphere, and great hair! 11/8/2007

I love this salon - the space is lovely, the atmosphere is totally relaxing and I always love my cut and color! Andee has a great eye and I trust her to play with my color- and I always get a ton of compliments every time!\r \r I've recommended this salon to friends, co-workers and they've all become repeat customers. And I of course recommend Star to all the strangers who tell me, "" I love your hair!"" Pros: Way cheaper than Cherry Creek or Lodo, with the same or better cuts, color and style more

The best natural-looking colorist for men in Denver! 11/8/2007

Andee is an artist: she takes the time to separate individual strands of hair and colors them 2 to 3 different complimentary shades of your natural hair color, each one lighter than the last, and leaves in enough of the grey so that you don't look like a 'Just For Men' helmet head. I have my natural 'salt and pepper' hair back again after being completely grey for the last 10 years. Andee is a star! more
