If you are considering living in this place get as far away form them as possible! My boyfriend and I have lived here for a year and CANNOT wait to leave. First of all the ladies (or should I say witches)in the front office are the most rude and god awful business women I have ever come across, not to mention they lie to people like THAT its what they are getting paid for. Secondly, they may as well not have ANY maintenance crew on the premises because NOTHING gets done. They are practically begging people to come live there now because everyone is moving out! I'd rather live in a hotel than in Staples Mill Townhomes. more

I was looking forward to moving there until I heard from a friend how the staff treat their tenants. A friend of mine got robbed there and when she told the staff it seemed like they didn't even believe them until there was a police report shown. But there was no sympathy at all. How can a please be so heartless when it's tenants are thieves? They also tried to pressure me into moving in so they didn't have to give me a move in special. They will do everything they can to screw you, they really DONT care and they make it quite apparent. Never speak to Ashley or Susan, they're both useless especially Ashley. more

I agree with majority of the reviews from Staple Mill Townhomes, located at 4100 Townhouse Road in Richmond Virginia 23228. \r \r I have encountered all types of problems while living in these apartments:\r \r 1. Unrepaired interior\r 2. Noise \r 3. Pest \r 4. Water leakage\r 5. Bad Management and Maintenance\r 6. Traffic violation tickets\r \r I have submit several work orders and certified letters regard the issues. \r \r There have been (3) different landlords managing the property for the past 12 months that I have been living in Staple Mill Townhomes. \r \r From all the issues that I have faced in the apartment, I should not have to pay a termination fee. \r \r The issue that I have reported to the current landlord,Tracy G. Borbitt, it have been addressed unprofessional. \r \r I am glad to know that I am not the only tenant is facing unpleasant experience in Staple Mill Townhome. \r \r I do believe that these complaints should be forward to U.S. Department of Housing Authority in Washington DC for further investigation. more

This Place is a dump!!! Cops here every other weekend... maintenance is a joke! bugs are everywhere you turn. Parking is a nightmare & they constantly towing cars away that don't belong here. So you can't have company. Kids run out in the street that you almost hit them & don't care with no parent supervision. The kitchen sucks it is so small & then on top of it you have to pay $35 - $40 for a washer hookup that connects to your sink which is awful which constants of a garden hose to your washer to fill up with water. There are many better places to rent!!! Renter beware...RUN! RUN! & RUN! more

Run like hell! Roaches, roaches and more roaches. Unsupervised children running rampant throughout the complex. HPD stake outs daily. Spare yourself the misery and find another place. The prices are good but you get what you pay for and that includes roaches and silverfish! more

The rate which they give for rent does NOT include the comcast mandated cable, trash and water (which is an additional $100 to $125). The property is somewhat quiet anbd remote, however the actual unit has r*aches. When I took my concern to the property manager, her response was ""owell, those things are hard to get rid of"" and she suggested I purchase the baits. So, if you don't mind pet r*aches, enjoy. Also, don't tell them that you have pets. You will have to pay an additional fee of $250 plus $20 pet fee per month. I, evidently, did not get the memo to keep this quiet, as it seems that I am the only one who paid and am still paying this pet fee. So, dishonesty is rewarded with no payment.
