Yes, I shop here but I don't have to like it. The Stanford Shopping Center has little character beyond the advert that it has most of the upscale stores under it's roof. It got rid of all the store with any independence like Woolworth's, etc, and replaced 'em all with newer and bigger iterations of the big consumer machine. It you enjoy getting dressed up in designer duds just to go shopping, you could probably make friends here. There are still a few interesting stores, and some nice markets, cafés, and a restaurant of two. The bookstore , and music store are also nice. I will give them credit they put on a great number of programs and charity events, many aimed at helping kids.
