Catholic Church 9/4/2005

St Edward's Catholic Church is a very nice church. It is a very large church that has recently been remodeled. It has a very modern appearance. The church and the restrooms are always kept clean and neat. The exterior is always well kept, also. This church puts on a very nice Mass. The sermons are easy to listen to. They have a separate room in the back (baby room) in case you are concerned that your children might be loud or disrupt the service. They have a great picnic every summer to provide financial support for the church. The summer picnic is fun for all ages and brings in people from all over, not just local parishioners. more

Community Oriented 8/21/2005

St. Edward Parish is a very friendly and family-like community. Everyone there knows everyone else and helps each other when needed. Everyone gets involved in church activities, such as the tractor pull which is a huge event in the summer. People come from all over for it. The church itself is huge inside and beautiful. It is very open and bright. The musicians are usually very talented and make you want to sing too. Everything about this parish makes it a wonderful place to belong. more

Catholic church 8/13/2005

St Edward's Church is a very nice church. The church is very large. They have a wonderful room blocked off in the back of church where people with children can sit so the kids do not disturb the entire church. They church and restrooms are always kept clean. The church puts on a large picnic every summer right on the church grounds. They have a huge turnout for the picnic. There is fun for all ages of your family. They have a tractor pull that is heard about for miles around. The church also has a school, if you choose to send your children to a parochial school. more

small town atmosphere 8/7/2005

St. Edward Catholic Church is located in the small town of Mackville. The parish built a beautiful new church just a few years ago. The parish has that small town close-knit family atmosphere. They have a Catholic elementary school next door, sharing the same parking lot. There is ample seating in the air-conditioned church. They offer many prayer meetings other than the weekend mass schedule, such as the Lenten preparation gatherings, religious education classes for students in grades K-12, and weekday masses. They are quite well-known for their annual Nationals Truck and Tractor Pull, which take place in June. more
