I don't care what's playing at the St. George Theater, I don't need much of an excuse to go there. The restoration work has been amazing, the theater is gorgeous. Staten Islanders always lament the lack of city-quality culture on staten island, but this theater is the perfect example of what can be done to fix that. Alvin Ailey Dance, Callilou for kids, Local theater and dance - there's always something scheduled at this theater. check out their website http://www.stgeorgetheatre.com and go support this theater! i am sure its a huge undertaking to keep it running!
