Amazing dealership!!! 1/2/2011

Recently had an issue that was not under warranty although I felt it should have been. After talking with the GM of the dealership, he saw my frustration and was able to work on my budget. They put me in a new car after giving me all sorts of rebates. They had integrity and kindness when one of their customers was in a no-win situation. I will recommend them over and over again and will always buy from them as long as their integrity and sincere concern continue! I have been blown away by their performance! Thank you, Sport Hyundai!!! more

Sport Hyundai: a typical dealership 3/28/2009

Sport Hyundai does what most car dealerships do because they want to maximize profits. I had an in-hand internet quote from a Sport Hyundai sales rep. When I stopped in, he was unavailable so his partner took up the sale. Lo and behold, the cost of the car was now higher than in the quote they had sent me. The advertising costs had to be tacked on now, so I was told. I also had a detailed bid from the AAA new car buying program with a lower price than Sport Hyundai offered me but the sales rep dismissed it because "the AAA bid does not give you every detail needed for comparing the two cars". Really,it does. He also implied that if you buy the car from the dealership, you tend to get better treatment in the parts and repair departments there. Really? How? A discount? Nope. I go to the front of the line? Nope? We went over the car invoice, and after we got the price back down to the original internet quote, I mentioned my trade in. Well the internet sales rep got a bit red in the face about that--I guess I was supposed to be a fool and mention it in advance so he could factor it in and up the new car price. Anyway, after giving me a long and dirty look and implying I was dealing from the bottom of the deck, he tossed us off to a floor sales rep. The floor sales rep had a couple of tricks too. Get this: after we worked out a deal he casually mentioned that this new car had 125 miles on it because they "must have gotten it from another dealership". Did I mind that? Darn right I did! After he took my trade to the maintenance folks for a quick check over I showed the sales rep the KKB and NADA trade in values for our car. He dismissed them and gave us a real low ball offer on our trade-in because he suspected "something is wrong with your transmission". There wasn't. Go prepared: do your homework on prices and other brands, learn how to play the new car game (its all on the web), bring a notebook and calculator, be prepared for a potentially tense experience, and don't rush. Sleep on it too. more

Used them for service 3/17/2006

I used Sport Hyundai for a repair on my car. Although I didn't buy my car from them, I was able to bring it there for repair. They kept my car for 1 day and the repair was finished. I was actually quite pleased with the service although they tried to sell me more things like oil change and rotating the tires even though I didn't think I needed them, so I passed on it. They have a small waiting area with a tv and snack machine if you want to sit there and wait for your car. more

Hard sell, uncomfortable 9/21/2005

When I went to Sport Hyundai to look for cars, I was incredibly unhappy with the way I was treated. I was talked down to, sold hard, and treated in what I felt was a very dishonest way. Prior to going I had been in contact with the Internet manager and gotten a quote on the care, but when I went in was told that manager wasn't in and was quoted a price that was much higher. I was pushed to test drive, although I wasn't sure I wanted to by then, and had to wait 20 minutes while they moved 10 cars out of the way to get to the one in the color I was interested in. I watched them jumpstart several of the cars in order to get them start. Then when I shook the salesman's hand and went to leave he begged me to stay and insisted that I talk to his manager before I go. I was very unhappy with the way they do business here. more

Great service 8/18/2005

For the six years that I had my Hyundai Elantra, I went to this dealer for all my service needs. From oil changes to serious repairs. I was always able to get an appointment quickly and the service staff was always helpful and courteous. The price of repairs seemed low to average. They also offered a service where you could drop your car off in the morning and they would drive you to work if need be. Very, very good service! more
