Splash Island at Plainfield Recreation Center has so much to offer. There are 3 waterslides, water jets, a gentle winding river, kids' play area with kiddy slides, etc. The deck area was large, and lockers were very clean.
Unfortunately, the admission fees are a little high compare to other city pools. If you live in Plainfield, the adult fee is $5.50, but if you live outside of Plainfield, you have to pay $7.50 for a adult. It gets a little cheaper if you enter after 3:00pm; adult fee for out-of-towner is $5.00. The pool is going to be open until 8/16. After the date, it will only open for weekends until September.
Overall, it's a fun place to take whole family.
