Spicy Pickle

This is one of the best sandwich places in DTC. I love their selection of meat and cheeses. The breads they use are also very tasty. They also offer so many different toppings and sauces - you really have endless options when it comes to sandwiches! They also have great salads and panini’s. I would recommend doing the half and half deal – where you get to choose 2 of the following: small soup, ½ sandwich or panini, or small salad. It’s a great value for your money – and I’m sure you will be impressed with the quality of their food! more

The Spicy Pickle is an excellent, casual sandwich place. They have unique creating as well as the favorite standbys. The atmosphere and personnel are warm and friendly, and, most importantly, the eating area is very kid friendly. The prices are very average, but the sandwich is above average! more

This place is awesome and I would eat there every day if I could. The selection of soups, salads and sandwiches is amazing and unique and the bread is so fresh and delicious. The pickle they serve with the sandwiches is spicy, thus the name of the place - so watch out! The man that runs the place is so friendly and walks around making sure that everyone is happy. Also, whenever the place is busy, he digs right in and helps wherever he is needed in the kitchen! Once when we were there with the kids, he walked over with two huge cookies for the kids - just for the heck of it! He is just so nice and has really made this place successful. During the week at lunchtime, calling ahead to place your order is wise because they get busy!!! more
